Pros:
Cons:
Flyye Industries Force Recon Vest with Pouch Set in Black, Large Size
Included (1) Vest/Plate Carrier, (1) Medical Pouch, (1) Radio Pouch, (1) Admin Pouch, (1) Large Utility Pouch, (1) Dual Pistol Magazine Pouch, (1) Dual Double Rifle Magazine Pouch, (2) Double Rifle Magazine Pouches, (2) Foam Plates
Drag Handle and Quick Release System integrated into vest/plate carrier
Includes elastic cummerbund and Velcro style hook-and-loop sections to securely mount the vest/plate carrier
Pros:
+All pouches use the MOLLE mounting system, allowing personal customization of your setup
+Large size leaves ample room for sizing up or down with its belt adjustment system
+Pouch set includes tons of storage for scrimmage games, maybe only needing an easily sourced rear backpack/hydration bag to make it worthy of larger, longer milsim-style games
+Each Rifle Magazine Pouch holds (2) magazines, allowing you to carry up to (8) magazines
+Belt adjustment system was easy to understand and adjust after a few minutes of examination
+Lots of space to run and manage cords or hydration lines through the shoulder pads
+Cost of roughly $150.00 US was a great value for someone just joining the fighting rig "scene"
Cons:
-Lacking (1) Pyrotechnic Grenade Pouch upon arrival
-Large size is large, indeed: I am 5'-9" tall and weigh roughly 225 pounds, and after fitting the vest/plate carrier to me, this thing still has LOTS of room to fit someone much larger than myself, both in width and height
-Fitting this vest/plate carrier can be a bit of a hassle without help: setting up the front and rear portions so the "armor" plates cover vital organs like they should is difficult without a friend, but is possible with a mirror, a little time, and trial and error
-Needs some time to break in: while I have only had it for a few weeks and haven't actually fielded it, it shipped to me very stiff, so expect the first few hours of wear to be a little uncomfortable, but should eventually pull itself to your shape, if you set it up correctly
These cons by no means outweigh the pros of this item: If you are built tall and broad shouldered or short and stout, this is a very good option, all the way around.
