Classic Army Ragnar Series ARS3-12 AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[34647 / CA101M-13-R]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Ragnar Series is one of the newest limited edition M4s by Classic Army. This Ragnar ARS3-12 carbine will feature a aggressively designed receiver and a 12 inch free float rail with picatinny sections at the very front, perfect for mounting flashlights, lasers or anything else you may need. Right away you can see that the airsoft gun comes equipped with a PTS EPS Stock and PTS EPM magazine. Internally, the Ragnar features an upgraded high ratio gear set, full metal rack piston, and the new Classic Army Max M2 Speed and Torque Motor. Additionally, the gun has a 9mm bearing gearbox, inline mosfet protected trigger contacts, stainless steel bore up cylinder, aluminum bore-up cylinder head, metal spring guide with bearing, 6.03mm tightbore barrel, silver low resistance trigger wiring, and a quick change spring system. The wiring utilizes a low heat deans plug and comes with an adapter for tamiya connector batteries. The quick change spring system allows for fast and easy spring changes without having to go into the gearbox. Altogether, the Ragnar series is built to have a consistently high FPS with a higher rate of fire compared to the original CA ARS3.

Just received my Ragnar today. Test firings went well...but I have what I consider a few major complaints about the handling of the assembly out of box (see cons section) Only reason I\'m leaving 3 stars is for the handling, not the rifle itself...but I would want to know about it before buying so I\'m including it as part of the satisfaction rating.
That being said....The rifle itself is very fun. Great motor speed. New mag is great but my drum sticks heavily on the catch so I\'m not sure if it\'s just not compatible or something mechanically wrong. Getting everything sighted in and doing a full playtest next week but so far internally everything looks and works really well.
Pros:
-great firing speed
-bells and whistles of internals are really good
-feels very realistic and handles well
-mosfet is easily removable in case it blows or want an upgrade
Cons:
1: No information...at all. The only paperwork you receive is the standard safety pamphlet from Classic Army. No information on what mosfet was installed, the motor information, nothing. I\'ve bought upgrade parts for other rifles, I know you get information from the companies with everything so it would be nice to have that at least included in the packet when the modify them.
2: The modular rail set up is kinda crap. You have to take the lower half apart to attach any of the pieces they send you. It would have been just as easy to install an MLOK or keymod full rail and charge me a bit more money. I\'ll most likely be replacing them completely soon which is just disappointing.

Staff Answer:
The springs included with airsoft guns do not usually fall into the aftermarket ratings usually. The spring in this gun is between an M120 and M130 2214 days ago 0

Staff Answer:
To an extent, the rifle can be made into a DMR, however because of the gear ratio being 16:1, you may notice difficulty pulling back the heavier springs. 2244 days ago 0
