We wanted to bring an airsoft gun that represented the #mayogang in the best way possible and the MGC4 was created! After doing a lot of research, we chose the Lancer Tactical Gen 3 as the base platform. They offer an amazing internal build out of the box! Inside the Gearbox you get a 18:1 CNC Wire Cut Gear Set, Full Metal Rack Piston, 8mm High Speed Bearings, Metal Quick Change Spring Guide with Ball Bearings, 25k High Torque Motor, and the Zion Arms Nebula Programmable MOSFET! To finish off the internals, you are getting a 6.03mm Tight Bore Inner Barrel and Rotary Hop Up Unit. We thought about how we can take the MGC4 to the next level and we added the Full Metal Receiver to increase durability. For the rail, we couldn’t settle for anything for any plain jane mayo. For this we has added the sleek M-LOK Rail to keep the weight down and keep the capability of adding as many accessories you want. The Slim SOPMOD Stock and Enhanced Pistol Grip finish the furniture and provide comfort and ergonomics. Over all I am personally very happy with the MGC4 and you will be too!

This was based on the gen 3 and I wanted to try something new so I got this one but did not like how the motor heated up so much the grip was almost impossible to touch while wearing gloves. The motor was stock compared to the pre upgraded advanced internals so these internals were almost wearing the motor out. I ran a diagnostic and it did the same thing, got very hot and I could not touch the grip. So if you buy this be sure to upgrade the motor and maybe even the mosfet. Good gun SUPERB performance but I think ASGI needs to check their motor installations to make sure the grips don't get hot because it got super annoying and concerning.

Full disclosure, the only reason this gun is not perfect is because my magazine came out the box with feeding problems. Was loading it for the first time and a bb got lodged and cannot be taken out no matter what. Let the CS department at GI know and they sent me 2 magazines free of charge.
Gun itself works great. This is an upgrade from my first gun which broke not too long ago but with how good this one shoots I almost don't even miss it. Shoots super freakin fast and snappy as heck! Range is so much better too. Other than that small issue with the magazine I have no issues recommending this to anyone looking for a step-up from your basic beginner guns

Got all three versions of the MGC4 at the same time to compare. The OG MGC4, much like the MK2, is a bit older at around 2 years total, but this one still kicks ass. While I like the MK2 the best, this wasn't that far off considering it's the same gun but with an sbr profile instead of the carbine which I guess is perfect for others. Not much else to say that I didn;t already say in my review of the MK2 so go check that one out. IN a nutshell: love its range, accuracy, rate of fire, esay-to-use ETU, and price. Can;t go wrong
