The Gate TITAN MOSFET is one of the most advanced electronic trigger units on the market for a V2 style gearbox. The TITAN has the capabilities of turning a regular gearbox into a devastating powerhouse, wreaking havoc over even high end traditional custom AEGs. Internally, instead of traditional trigger contacts or microswitches, it uses several optical sensors to detect movement of the trigger, meaning there is no wear or tear on the unit, as it's all done though the sensors! The trigger can be fine tuned using a programming card or usb link, giving you several options such as setting your gun to have a two stage trigger (AUG style), a true hair trigger, and even turning your gun into a DMR styled rifle with a sniper delay, disallowing the user from firing several times in succession and giving it a true delay between shots.

The fire selector is done in the same way, in which it uses those same type of sensors to detect where the fire selector is. The benefit of having these sensors over traditional system is that there's nothing to wear out when using the gun. Calibration and fine tuning is done with much more ease with a sensor, and beyond that, the possibilities are endless, with future updates and firmware that can be added in to utilize and innovate with the sensors.

The TITAN uses 8 optical sensors to detect gearbox function, which can be programmed and utilized with a plethora of fire control options to improve the function of any build. These sensors allow for settings such as setting up precocking, overspin prevention, and most importantly, cycle completion (no more hang-ups on semi automatic fire!). Along with the fire controls, the TITAN regulates current through the gun to prevent over discharge, and will prevent the rifle from firing when the battery drains too low on power, and can audibly alert the user with an optional warning tone to prevent a Lithium Polymer Battery from draining completely and catastrophically failing.

The TITAN is also able to give the user statistics on everything about their AEG! From the statistics screen, the user is able to read their fire rate, their voltage draw, and even the trigger response! It's also optional for the user to submit their data to be ranked against other users of the GATE, so you can see where your AEGs stack against the best all around the world!

One of the biggests innovations that the TITAN has brought to the table is the ability to self diagnose gearbox issues. In the TITAN, there are several error codes and precautions in place to prevent your gearbox from burning out or catastrophically imploding. When plugged into the computer, the user is able to read the error codes, allowing the user to instantly identify the issue with the gun, and potentially save the hassle of needing to open up the gearbox as the issue may be related to something outside of the unit!

The programming card allows the user to set up their AEGs on the field without the use of a computer, allowing for quick changes and functionality swaps on the field when needed. The card plugs directly into the AEG, and then a battery plugs into the other end.

Player's POV:
The GATE TITAN is the best investments that I've made for my airsofting career. From a tech's perspective, this unit is absolutely essential in nearly every V2 build that I make now. The sheer fact that it controls everything via optical sensors, giving me ultimate control has actually allowed me to open my gearbox a lot less since it gives me the diagnostics on the spot! I've been asked by several players what makes my gun shoot so well, and it's truly all in the unit. The unit has allowed me to match the trigger performance of any HPA set up, giving me the ability to pre-cock my rifle, which is essentially pulling the piston back at the very peak of release, and allowing the pull of the trigger to release the piston. I've gotten readings of 12ms semi automatic response time on a standard AEG with pre-cocking settings on, and 40ms semi automatic response time with pre-cocking off. That's over four times faster, and can easily match any HPA unit on the field, but without the hassle of a line and a tank of a standard HPA unit.
