The Z 1911 Hicapa Gas Blow Back Pistol Airsoft Gun has a metal slide, a metal frame, and a textured polymer grip. It is essentially a double stacked 1911; the breakdown and the operation remain about the same. The functional grip safety and ambidextrous slide safety make its operation safe for all users. The rear sight is adjustable for improved accuracy and personal preference. The blow back action is operated by high pressure gas, such as green gas, red gas, or propane. The reinforced metal parts include outer barrel, chamber, recoil spring rod, slide stop, safety, hammer, and trigger. The internal upgrade parts include reinforced recoil spring, hammer spring, firing pin, extreme high flow valve. This airsoft gun has the well established operation of the 1911 with the advantages of a double stacked magazine.

This pistol is built exactly like its TM counterpart, except for a few minor differences. First, its full metal, and second, it is only $115!!!
I will be honest and admit that I have never thought of owning a Hicapa. I have always gone for g-series styles of pistols. After "lady-luck" at Assault on Antioch touched my shoulder and handed me this gun during the raffle, I had fallen in love with the weight, feel, reliability, ammo capacity, and power. After its first official outing at Hill 559 it took the cake. The accuracy, power, and smooth cycling, despite being buried in the dirt from me taking a nose dive, left me speechless and many others surprised.
Pros:
-holds 30rds per mag = less reloads
-great solid construction
-easy to clean and maintain
-TM Hicapa 5.1 mags work amazingly well in this pistol and I highly recommend them, also the cooldown time for them is very short and they hold enough gas for almost two full mags.
-I compared this gun next to my buddies TM 1911 Hicapa, and they are literally built exactly the same except his is plastic and costs $189
Cons:
-the mag it comes with works great, but I noticed a small loss of power in the last 10 shots
-finding a holster can be hard, and soft holsters will bump the mag release causing you to possibly lose a mag (although there are 1911 serpa holsters that this will fit snugly in)
if your a fan of a hi-capa but you really care about quality & quantity look no further. The Z Hi-capa is the best starting gun to get for any beginner who is on a very tight budget. like the TM/KJW/WE counter parts. this is 1:1 ratio of a TM. being made in Hong kong your getting a bang out of your buck if you decide to go with it. from its metal-slide & hi grade polymer body. this is by far one of the best hi-capa's to get if your starting out. I could not tell how much this gun is so helpful when I 1st gotten this in my hands. not to mention that its fully up gradable with aftermarket parts and best yet is the price. I would go with this if you want to get the most out of your airsoft experience.
Pros:
-after market parts work very well with this one ( if you want to get the most out of this gun; I would recommend getting a PDI 6.01 inner barrel to get range & accuracy with this one.)
-full metal slide & high quality plastic like you get from a TM & a KJW gun
- Perfect starting gun for those who want to get the most out of their money.
- easy to fix if you want to do your own repair.
-standard ammo capacity you get from all hi-capa's
- very durable yet classy for what your so pretty hard to break this gun. ( accidentally dropping your gun is very safe)
Cons:
-the mag's are not THAT? bad considering I'd had a few issues on charging them... but they work very well. ( basically its just charging them. and I get a few shots that don't use the whole mag. so make sure your charge them properly)
- you have to install a rail if you want to add that feature in but its very minor
-finding a holster can be a bit of a hassle but still minor.
-doesn't come with a non-threaded barrel like you get with a WE
- very minor complaints but for what's it worth really... not that many con's
