Cheap helmet with basically Styrofoam bike helmet pads, though are velcro adjustable. The tensioner doesn't hold the greatest and comes loose too easily. It was decent during play but between rounds I found myself tightening it often. The straps need just a bit more adjustment to be snug for me. It was ok but I couldn't lock it down enough to completely alleviate helmet shift when I shake my head from a mixture of straps and tensioner.
There wasn't a size option here but the box says "large" on it. I would've probably needed a medium, but i'm getting replacement straps for it as they need just a bit more adjustment to fit me properly. I wore a balaclava and that helped a ton with both comfort from the stiff pads, and the size adjustment of the straps. (as well as protecting the bottom and sides of my neck/ears.
I think I would steer towards getting the "pilot face mask" and helmet separate to get a helmet that already has more comfort padding and straps instead of replacing the ones on this if I did it again.
The face mask worked once it was on but putting it on with the helmet on was a bit of a pain as the arc rail adapter moves, as well as the face mask rail that attaches to the adapter. But once it was on I didn't have it shift during play, only when putting it on and adjusting it. The face mask also has no foam padding around the nose or anything and no option to use it without being attached to the helmet like you would get if it was bought separately.
Also note if you use a helmet like this with an optic on a M4 platform you are going to need something like a 2.91 riser to see through the optic. Even 1.93 risers aren't enough.
I really liked the concept of having the eye/face pro attached to the helmet and i'm probably going to continue to use it but to avoid having to go with the higher riser you need a slimmer face mask.
Pros:
cheap helmet/eye pro combo
good velcro on top and inside of helmet
arc rails worked well
NVG mount held action camera well
Cons:
cheap pads
tensioner doesn't lock down
straps don't adjust down enough
face mask had no separate padding and could rub nose as tensioner got loose.
