Taurus PT 92 Spring Airsoft Pistol (Black)[Q13C01][07146 / 21113]
The Cybergun Spring Taurus Pistol is the perfect airsoft gun for someone to get the taste of what airsoft is like. This pistol is lightweight but strong because it's constructed of metal. On the side of the slide are official trademarks. The slide, which needs to be cocked back before every shot, moves just like the real thing. Whether you just want to target practice with a cool looking gun or you want to start playing seriously on a budget, this Cybergun PT92 is the fit for you! Also, this gun is perfect as an inexpensive and expendable movie prop, combine the right lighting with the real trademarks and you've got a perfect non firing prop gun.
Muzzle Velocity: 200 FPS w/ .20g
Magazine Capacity: 15 rounds
Package Includes: gun, magazine
- Metal Construction
- Official Trademarks
- Manufacturer: Cybergun
For a springer, this thing actually shoots really hard. The 1J statistic the stickers and box says roughly translates to ~300fps with .12g, but more like ~280fps with .2g. Its actually usable for CQB for those last minute blitzes and can come in handy for surrendering people in really tight locations. Magazines are tiny for an M9 still though. Overall, blew my expectations for a springer out of the water
Metal slide construction
Handy CQB sidearm
Springer (slow follow up shots, stiff cycle, etc.)
Really expensive for a spring gun
If you are just a beginner or you are looking for a good spring pistol then this is a great gun to consider buying. It shoots a lot better then most spring pistols and is very reliable. Before I really started to get into airsoft I used this gun as a back-up to a spring m14 and for the most part I tended to rely on this pistol more then my primary weapon because it was so good. If it wasn't for having to cock the gun each time to fire (all spring powered guns do this) I would probably still be using it in airsoft games.
Some pros are:
Some cons are:
extra mags can sometimes be a pain to find online
(other then that this gun is great for a spring gun)
I got this for my birthday and it's alright. I use it mostly either for target shooting ,or for playing with those of my friends not yet converted to metal gearbox guns. I would not recommend this to a friend ,but consider the facts.
A. Metal slide is nice B. BAXS system is AMAZING!!! C. $30 isn't that bad
A. Quite frankly...it's a spring gun [might not be so bad if that's what you want] B. Clip capacity is pathetic ,and extra mag packs are nearly impossible to find
Does Airsoft GI sell extra magazines for this pistol? If so, where?
