Already got experience with the AAP platform so this was a no-brainer, especially if it's on sale. Generally most AAP parts should be compatible, though some brands might need a bit more work to get to sit properly but that's not a problem unique to the Cthulu so can't really put the blame on it solely. Only downside has got to be the hop-up chamber, not the most consistent. But the rate of fire on full auto is nice, efficiency is decent, and the feel of the pistol is insanely comfortable. Most guys have to spend quite a bit of money to get their AAPs to look like how the Cthulu comes stock.

Got this so I can play with my kid. I don;t ever intended to fully commit to the whole airsoft thing, but I did want to make sure I had something that could help me keep up with my son and not embarrass him in front of all his friends. He runs the original AAP01 so we can share the mags. Parts too apparently. Just slap on a tracer and you're good to rock.
