It's not that I don't like it, but there is definitely something lacking. It came in the mail in about a week, as expected and taking out of the box I couldn't be happier, thing is a beaut. But after a little examination I realized some lacking points. First, the magazine only held about 15 rounds, that's bad. Especially for a semi automatic gun. Obviously this wouldn't be a problem if you had more mags, but hey, they're 50 bucks a pop. Furthermore, they are a bit of a pain to load, the best way I've found is to just do it by hand, which I can imagine will be less than ideal during a firefight.
Pros:
- One of those, "look what he's got guns"
- Pretty solid fps for a CO2 gun
- Blow back is crisp
- Realistic Weight
- Great gun to just shoot around the back yard with
Cons:
- Magazine only holds around 15.
- Goes through around 80 shots before a new CO2 cartridge is needed
- Will be troublesome in an actual game
- Will go through a lot of CO2
Bought this gun about 5 months ago. I've skirmished with it 4 times. I am a huge fan of the M1 Carbine so I had to have it. The gun has a great finish and is pretty close to my real steel gun. Mine shoots around 370 fps which is perfect for my field. Accuracy is decent, but not the best. Biggest con is the mag size - 15 rounds just like the real steel one. I have used it in games against normal AEGs - it is more challenging but I've gotten kills with it. If you like to spray BBs this is not your rifle. If you prefer a stealthy approach and can wait for your shots, this is an awesome gun.
I get 5-6 mags out of one co2 cartridge. Mags are expensive and you're probably going to need 2 extra (45 rounds total). The mags can be a little tricky to reload, but you can use a speed loader to help. I have gone into battle and reloaded a mag mid game.
Make sure this gun fits your play style before buying! I'm giving it 4 out of 5 because of its cost.
Pros:
Looks great.
Super light weight. You can run and move very easily with it.
Blow back is cool.
Realistic - 15 rounds per mag! But this could be a con.
Cons:
Expensive, mags are expensive also.
Can be challenging to skirmish.
Hop up and accuracy could be better.
Haven't found good pouches for the mags yet.
