I got the Lancer Tactical Gen 2 Stalker 13" M4 AEG Airsoft Rifle W/ Li-ion Battery / Charger (Black & Tan)
[72857 / LT-44XN13-G2]
I have put around 6000-7000 rounds through it at the time of this review
Chrono results With .20s
Semi
376.2 FPS 1.33 J
Auto 16.6 RPS (with 11.1 Li-on)
381.1 FPS 1.38J
Pros:
Solid build
Accurate
Lots of space for Mlok mounts
Quick change spring system is nice for swapping out for a lower power spring to meet field regs
Hop up stays in place and is easy to use.
I enjoy the responsiveness of the trigger and the clean, snappy feel of shooting.
I feel that, for the price, it is a good beginner's or intermediate gun with upgrades available in the future. However, I would keep the warranty in mind and follow Airsoft GI's warranty terms, so if you encounter any of the following issues, you can be covered. I want to give the benefit of the doubt to the one I received, being a lemon.
Cons:
You can feel the grip become very warm after 10 minutes of use or after bursts of full auto.
Sometimes when switching from Semi to Auto or Auto to Semi trigger will lock like in Safe, Fix by switching to auto burst fire then to semi,
Easy to accidentally flip to different fire modes.
The first time I used this, other than shooting at targets with friends, etc, in a field, after about 20 minutes in CQC, it started to shoot bursts of 2 on semi. I had to readjust the motor height, and it fixed the issue. and still recurring issue.
IT can be a frustrating experience when your equipment malfunctions or runs into an error when using it.
