The new Lancer Tactical 9mm carbine shares the same functionality and features as our popular Gen 2 series AEGs but in a new 9mm style carbine shell. Internals are what you get in a traditional Lancer Tactical Gen 2 series AEG which puts out the same performance as any other Gen 2 series AEGs. Extremely compact and lightweight design of the 9mm billet style receiver resembles a traditional M4 type rifle but the airsoft replica now chambers 9mm magazines versus traditional M4/M16 magazines. This particular magazine retains a 118RD capacity, meaning you can be out on the field longer racking up kills left and right.
In a nut-shell, think of this rifle as the new meta: the Honda Civic of 9mm/pdw/pcc style airsoft guns. As mentioned before the Gen 2 gearbox is present here so out of the box you'll be getting one of the most versatile gearboxes on the market for an amazing price. No pre-installed ETU or mosfet here. This gearbox, just like all standard gen 2 gearboxes, is ready for any aftermarket drop-in module such as a Gate Titan. The possibilities are LITERALLY endless with this new carbine. As this model is labeled as a Performance + package, you will be receiving this PDW with a a pre-installed Unicorn Airsoft 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and a Unicorn AIrsoft ! Lancer Tactical Gen 2 9mm Battle X CQB Carbine Airsoft AEG. very good entry level gun. the unicorn inner barrel is a big plus.
Pros:
lightweight and snappy. also, very compact. great choice for cqb airsoft games. gen 2 internals mean that there is an immense amount of aftermarket parts, upgrades and accessories readily available so there is plenty of room to grow your replica into a very capable and reliable gun. the included precision barrel is a decent upgrade to the one installed. get ready to get your hands busy and get to know your gun's inner workings in the process. just be careful when removing the retention clip from the hop up unit. is kind of flimsy. overall great piece of kit and excellent platform for newbies to get into tinkering with their replica.
Cons:
retention clip for the inner barrel is flimsy and tends to break easy. be mindful of that when changing the inner barrel. shoots a bit hot and there is not a low fps spring included so you'll have to get one separate.
