LCT Airsoft LCK12 Tactical AK-12 AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[40282 / LCT-LCK12-AEG]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Change is bound to happen with the world adapting and evolving toward different circumstances. The real steel AK-12 and AK-15 was developed in response to the vast environmental conditions and tactical demands the Russian armed forces face throughout the zones they serve. These models were both introduced with new features not typically seen in the previous AK models. Additionally, the new design allowed the use of the existing inventory of ammunition. The real AK-12 uses magazines that hold 5.45 rounds while the AK-15 uses magazines with 7.62.
LCT has done an amazing job manufacturing the airsoft version of the AK-12 for enthusiasts and players looking for a modern AK. The only difference for the airsoft model is the type of magazine style you receive with the package. Other than the different magazine style, the AK-12 and AK-15 is cross compatible with most AK AEG magazines found in the market.
The LCK12 uses LCT's astonishing quality of realistic riveted steel to set the core of this build. All around the receiver rests the reinforced polymer furniture to complete the rifle. On the handguard, there are rail sections on the top, bottom, and sides for all your favorite accessories. This is great for adding a vertical grip, flashlight, and more to excel in the objective you are trying to complete. The top rail section of the receiver is streamlined with the handguard to install your preferred red dot or scope sight. The rear sight is also removable to setup more space for an optic. The rifle comes with a textured ergonomic grip for optimal comfort for those long days on the field. Additionally, the enhanced AK fire selector is designed to give you the ability to change the firing mode easier. Set the perfect stance with the retractable stock that can fold to the side without worrying about an optic mount being in the way like the previous AK models. Lastly, the rifle has rear QD sling mount points with a front swivel sling mount to give you variety of options to rest the airsoft gun on you while freeing up your hands. It's time to build a new armory and loadout with this top-tier model from LCT!

as my teams token russia-phile I always wanted an AK12. I ordered one the second I had the money and this was my first really high end AK. I love the feel and performance and its so easy to customize. Getting the battery is kind of a pain but once you learn the trick it's not so bad.
Pros:
Full metal! It's so heavy and awesome!
Shoots great
dust cover doesn't wobble at all
Cons:
Was hard to get the dust cover off, it uses a pin like a 1911, not the button like a normal ak im used too. It's actually easier to do, but it took me a bit to figure out.
I've had this gun for a few months now and I'd say it's become my favorite rifle. Taking this gun out of the box it is heavy. I like the weight but you might not. The body is made from LCT's famous steel and is amazingly durable. I noticed that not only is the battery compartment hard to get to but the space within is very type. The compartment under the dust cover which can be removed by removing a pin at the front of the gun. I use a Titan 7.4 stick type as my version has Tamiya connectors and I was unable to fit an 11.1 in the compartment, this might not be an issue if you replace the Tamiya connectors with Deans. The pin can be hard to get back in but with breaking in it got better for me. I found that the rifle's stock accuracy was nothing special. Mine was only accurate about 100ft out. I bought a new barrel for it and it got better. The magazine does not fit well in the magwell. It also has feeding issues. But the rifle is reliable and is very fun to use.
Pros:
LCT's amazing build quality all around
Rate of fire is good
Unique in appearance
Fun to use
Cons:
Accuracy leaves something to be desired
Battery space is very limited
Stock magazine is not very good
I bought this as I love Russian guns a lot but have yet to ever own a high end AK. When I pulled the box out from the brown shipping box and opened it the first thing I noticed is how high quality everything about LCT is. The box has amazing graphics on it. Opening the box revealed two high quality printed booklets, one is a catalog of all the other guns LCT offers and the other is a manual for the AK-12 inside. It also included a small metal keychain thing with the brand name on one side and an image of the gun on the other. Taking the gun itself out I noticed how heavy it was. I love this as it makes it all the more realistic although smaller people may not like this. When I started examining it I found that the battery compartment is under the dust cover as expected and unfortunately is very small. None of my batteries fit inside and I was only able to test fire it so far. I have yet to take it to a field yet though I have no doubt that it will perform great once I get a stick type battery.
Pros:
-Full metal body, made of steel
-Fire selector is nicely designed and easy to use without removing your finger from the trigger
-Hop up access is under the bolt, pull it back to access. Easy to use too.
-Authentic Russian lettering on the selector and sight
-Heavy weight, possibly a con for some
-Large, again possibly a con for some
-Internals seem to be of amazing quality as well
-Mag included is a midcap, once again this may be a con if you prefer hicaps
-Adjustable stock that can also be folded to the side
-Feels great when shouldered, weight distribution is very even
-Mag doesn't wobble
Cons:
-Limited battery space, you'll want a stick type. Also you can most likely forget trying to use any inline MOSFETs with it such as the Burst Wizard or Xcortech X3300W unless you put a pitifully small battery in it.
-Mag can be tight at first, mine seemed to break in quickly during test firing
-Selector can be tight at first, also breaks in eventually
-The orange tip is a pain to remove if you want to use the threads.
