Well out of the many AK models out there, I have to say the AKS-74U model by JG for the price you pay gives you the most bang for you're buck. For $160.00, you get the gun, with a steel reciever, real wood handguards(which look great in sunlight), an EBB system built in the gun that works great and looks awesome, a black metal flashhider, and a great rate of fire with an 8.4V battery it comes with.(look for "JG AKS-74U" on youtube for 3 vids on the gun(1 unboxing and 2 shooting tests with and w/o the orange flash hider.)
Real wood handguards that look and feel great
Comes with a free metal black flash hider to replace the original orange one.
Rate of fire is great and the blowback is even greater with a meal clink.
Sights are easy to use and are better than traditional Ak sights (in my opinion)
Folding metal stock makes the gun easy to move around in a backpack or whatever.
Accepts cyma 68rd midcaps which look and feed flawlessly
Orange flash hider is very annoying and makes the entire gun look bad.(blow dryer)
Orange hi-cap that comes with the gun must be pushed in very hard very fast to be firmly secured to the gun.
Sling mount on stock very annoying, tape down.
All this 4 $160.00 is nothing really to complain about, as it can all be avoided with easy mods or add-ons.
this gun looks cool i am prolly gonna get it......i am just wondering does it have any rails for scopes
This gun was great when I first got it, but after the first week the EBB( electric blow back) broke. meaning that it does not shoot, or work. The EBB is connected to the piston. No not buy this gun. I recommend the JG M4 tight barrel 440 fps. I have send the AK back to airsoft megastore and asked for this M4. Do not buy this gun, you will regret it.
Fast rps, good weigh, putting in the batterie was easy. I loved it when i got it, but i had a feeling that it was going to happen.
The EBB is cool but when it is moving 14rps it was going to wear down at one point. I was very disappointed with this gun. I would never buy it again.
