With a blade measuring at 3.5", and an overall measurement of 8.15", the X5 fits comfortable in your hand and pocket. Crafted from CPM-154 stainless steel, a hard and easy to sharpen steel, the X5 has an incredibly unique and recognizable blade shape, called the Wharncliffe blade. This design is often referred to by many self defense experts as the absolute best shape for fighting and protecting yourself, which makes Hogue's decision to add G10 scales to their handles even more important. G10, often regarded as the only handle material appropriate in self defense knives, increases grip on the blade, ensuring control even under extreme circumstances.
