Having tried many different pistols from the m9 to the p320 (m18), the p226 and the overrated high capa 2011s, this USP was easily my favorite. It is SO much lighter than my previous AW ace competitor, and has less recoil but still packs a huge punch. This USP is not just iconic from the games, it feels great, robust and sturdy, definitely doesn't feel cheap at all, is super easy to reload after getting used to the new feel, mags are smaller and lighter, and its performance can really level 2011s and other competition oriented pistols. I say that because for one, it is responsive for fast trigger fingers. It can respond to 10 quick shots in 1.5 seconds just like competition oriented pistols. Maybe other pistols have that, but the price for one of these plus the reliability having no desire for aftermarket upgrades, the build quality, and the nostalgic look and feel has me all in. I've been playing since 2017 in fast paced cqb, hanging out with milspeed players with dyes and polarstars, and this pistol allows me to play very aggressively without compromising nostalgia, reliability, feel, build quality and performance. This really was the perfect pistol for me! It is just so clean.

Trigger mechanism retaining quality after a while? I haven't had issues so far but it seems like it may need to be replaced in the future.

The orange tip is actually an extension of the barrel and cant be removed because it seems built in as if it's the barrel itself even though its plastic. The only solution would be to spray paint it black by first pulling the slide back to expose the outer barrel, then pressing the slide lock tab upward to lock it in place, then taping the outer barrel with painting tape up to the flash hider, taping half of the slide, then the underside tac rail wrapping it around like a candy cane to cover everything, and then covering the front of that underside tac rail, so the paint does not touch the gun itself, just the orange tip.
