E&L Airsoft AKS-74UN MOD A Platinum AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)

E&L has been manufacturing some of the highest quality airsoft guns on the market for a few years now and has really made their name known. E&L creates their AK AEGs in the same process used to create the airsoft gun's firearm counterparts; however, E&L uses a process which changes the stamped steel AK receivers from a firearm component into a shell capable of accepting a Version 3 Gearbox. E&L is focused on making their line of airsoft guns as aesthetically realistic as possible. E&L Airsoft has teamed up with other companies in the airsoft industry to produce high performance and high quality internals for their AEGs. All E&L AKs use standard Version 3 gearboxes which can accept any Marui-compatible components.

The E&L AKS-74UN Mod A Platinum Line is constructed from a stamped steel receiver and an aluminum front rail kit, with a SAW style pistol grip and steel triangle stock and a shorter 10 inch barrel that is great for CQB situations. Because this rifle is modeled after the "N" model of the AKS-74U, it also features a side mount for optics, should the user desire. Internally, this rifle is very different from the rifles of yesteryear E&L used to produce. Featuring their new Gen2 "Platinum" gearbox, which features some really impressive design choices. Most impressive is the single piece Cylinder set, which removes the potential for an air leak between the cylinder head and cylinder body, improving compression overall. The rest of the gearbox has been similarly reinforced, with CNC'd steel gears, a solid high torque motor to power it all, and a piston with a half rack of steel teeth to round it all out. Overall this platinum line is the rifle that will really solidify the E&L name as a high end AK brand.
