This boot came in standard shoe box. The boot itself is really light weight and comes above the ankle, but not too high to be crazy. Laces up the front like a shoe, no zippers on the size. Color is true to picture. Product does boast water proof or resistant but I have not tested that fully. Rubber sole on bottom for grip.
Lightweight!! I can finally run in these with my full load out and not feel like I have lead in my feet.
Color matches perfectly with my multicam set up.
Seems to be built well.
Good arch and ankle support
The only gripe I have is the lacing spacing when the boot curves in its midpoint. It is hard to get that part super tight with the laces, but it does not affect my feelings towards them. Maybe after a few more breaking in periods, it will change.
Package came in a very neat box and was delivered on time. My gripe is with the product it's self.
The product in made of alright material, good leather and very comfortable. They are water proof to an extent in boot high deep water. *They still leak a small amount of water though at that height* if running through water they will keep your feet dry!
The boots are very flexible and support the ankle very nicely. They have a great rubber on the bottom for non-slip, great for rock climbing.
These boots are super light, probably even lighter than most standard running/tennis shoes.
So these boots are very very good, why the bad rating though?
two reasons -
The plastic zipper on the boot is horrible, it broke about 6 hours of use. Obviously couldn't send them back since I had already used them for a long period of time. But it didn't just break in a standard way no. The zipper when zipping up tends to fall off the zipper rail after being fully zipped up. Or when trying to zip it up it will fall off or not fully zip. Either way a cheap zipper for $100, which other wise would be a fantastic boot.
The price is what turned me off. I could have gone on either Wish or other related sites and got these boots $80-100 USD cheaper.
-semi-water proof (up to the top of the boot, still leaks water standing still in water though)
-Good shoe strings, flexible not easy to break
-Great fit, came in my size *I have small feet*
-Very tight on the feet, but super comfortable (But only if the zipper zips up all the way)
-Great for air softing running around on hills and climbing on rocks.
-The plastic zipper is horrible.
-The price is really really steep just because of the zipper (Which is the only really way of getting the tight feel of the boot)
Like I said it broke only after about 6 hours of use and now I have one boot which the zipper works perfectly fine and the other boot which takes me around 5 minutes sometimes to get the zipper to zip up correctly.
