Classic Army has done an amazing job producing the "Transformers Inspired" Classic I Tactical Vest to please enthusiasts and airsoft players all around the world. This model comes with dummy soft plates in the front and rear of the carrier to give it a rigid platform for accessories you wish to attach onto the MOLLE system. All around the vest are padded areas that help form the carrier around the body. Elastic cords combined with straps along the front and rear hold the entire vest together. Full discloser* - I have not purchased this specific plate carrier.
That being said, I have owned this plate carrier made by the same company (I believe to be the same company). If you are looking for a unique plate carrier - look no further. This piece of kit screams tacti"cool". I have had people offer to buy the kit almost every time I have played simply because it is unique plate carrier. Unfortunately, that about it. It is a replica of a different plate carrier that will run you a pretty penny. The front is completely detachable and leaves you with base that fits a wears like a vest - comfortable design. Sadly, the attachment points for the front plate aren't well designed and cause it to slide from left to right. Add some gear to the front and now you are doing the truffle shuffle anytime you have to move with a purpose. Further more the buckles are more of an after thought and do not add any additional stability. The front will always sit off to the left and make the whole rig feel eh. With this all in mind. If you got a pair of scissors (for cutting cord), a lighter, and a roll of 550 cord - this is all fixable with some time and a basic understanding of knots. All in All, sick piece of kit that needs some personal work to fit you right

Are the sides permanently attached / stitched to the front and rear sections of vest??? Adjustable for girth or one size???
I would like to know if the sides of vest can be adjusted for girth for bigger people??? Is the side cummerbund panel section of vest able to detach and separate from the front or back of vest, or is it permanently stitched to the rear and front sections for a one / fixed size fitting for small people etc???

The vest is adjustable for girth to an extent, but the cummerbund is integrated into the design and is not removeable from the front and back if you want it to function properly. 2307 days ago 1
