Precision barrels are best described as an inner barrel with a diameter of 6.03mm or less. Precision inner barrels allow for better compression, improved accuracy, and in a few cases increase muzzle velocity. Although precision barrels often require more maintenance and cleaning, they can give an AEG a greater range and improve the overall performance of an airsoft AEG.

Product Information:
first off, if you thinking about getting a better barrel, but a silencer for your gun so you can extend the overall barrel length making your accuracy better. i put this on my km4a1 and my g&g pm5a4, and it increased their velocity, range and accuracy more than i ever hoped for

I've used allot of different tighbores in allot of different guns. I put this one it a KWA SR12. This barrel is extremely well made! I love that it's stainless steel and not aluminum! That means yeah it'll add a little more weight than other tightbores, but it'll take allot more abuse without being ruined. Plus it has no teflon on it to come off. If you've ever done a barrel swap on a M14 you've probly noticed the hopup locking ring is closer to the beggining of the barrel than on pretty much anything else. Well, my ASGI tightbore came with 2 lock ring cuts on either side of the barrel, so this could easily go into a M14. No other company does that, and deffinately not for this price! I'm taking mine out only because I'm going with an ASGI 6.01mm! lol

best quality for the price hands down

Just got this barrel for my KWA M16BR 2GX and I must say, it was worth the money. For those of you who, like me, are worried about installing it and possibly messing up the installation, don't be. It's very simple, just watch the video about it and Tim lays it out perfectly. As far as performance, I haven't used it in an Op yet but I took it out in my yard and noticed a significant increase in accuracy and shot consistancy, an increase in my hop-up's effectiveness (though that may not be the barrel, it may be that I took it apart and lubed the hop-up), a noticeable range increase, and a slight FPS boost.
Your shots seem to stick together more and you don't get as many stray shots that whizz off in random directions. Using only iron sights on my M16 the bbs were hitting right on the money every time at 100 feet (I couldn't test any more range than that cause it was raining and I shot from my garage lol) and I'm sure with this barrel I'll be able to engage human sized targets at 200 feet easily. If you have an M16 and you want to do a simple, relatively cheap mod that will produce great results, I'd highly reccomend picking up one of these barrels.

CQB/Field is not going to work with this barrel. It's just way to long. A normal M4 or a Robinson XCR or AK will do the job.
