A&K has done an incredible job transforming all of this legendary quality and craftsmanship into the world of airsoft, and decided to add a taste of modernity to this now peculiar yet appealing concoction. The A&K 1873 Gas Lever Action Mare's Leg airsoft gun is constructed primarily out of metal, with imitation wood, giving it an excellent feel and realistic weight. The original handguard was replaced by a new MLOK system, making it far more modular than the original variants. In addition, the retro BB blaster sports a mock suppressor which sits recessed in the new MLOK rail. The lever action functions in very much the same way as its real steel counterpart, and the 25 round tubular magazine is built into the side of the gun, just like the real thing.
