D Boy RK-06 AK-74 AEG Airsoft Rifle (Wood)
[P06A01][04342 / RK-06]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Descriptions:
The D-Boy RK-06 externals include a full metal receiver and barrel assembly. Also, the hand guards and stock are not simply replica wood like many AKs on the market; it is authentic wood. The receiver has a scope/equipment rail that can mount AK specific equipment and scopes. The full stock is made of real wood giving the gun a realistic feel and weight. The RK-06 even breaks down like the real deal. For half the price of a Tokyo Marui you get more than twice the gun. The package includes a high capacity magazine, battery, charger, and many of the same features as higher end guns like VFC.

I just recently received this gun and I am happy enough with how it fired. I ordered 2 extra mags when I got the gun and noticed that the extras are a little too wide for the magazine slot. We had to take the slide release out in order to get the mag out again then sand the mags down so they wouldn't get stuck. They fit fine now though
Pros:
solid gun
good fps
real wood and metal
Cons:
extra mags are too wide
I recently purchased this gun from this site and i am simply astouded with this AK. I have gone through 2 games in the woods with this weapon and it has performed near flawlessly. I only say near flawlessly for one reason, and that is the selector switch which i can not consistently get to select semi-auto. I would say i can get it there about 70% of the time. Otherwise this gun is very high quality, the wood and sling are fantastic, the sling is very sturdy while the wood is a real stained wood. Also the battery is fantastic as its an easy fit into the gun and you can figure it out right away, also it is a Nickel metal-hydride battery which is great since it does not fall victim to the "memory effect" easily. GREAT GUN if your looking for an AK74 and dont want to do alot of work to make it good, this is your gun.
Pros:
380-400fps (380 after the spring settles a bit)
Battery (easy to fit in, an 8.4v 1100mah, Ni-MH)
Furniture (real stained wood) (very sturdy stock and handgrip)
Mag is sturdy
Metal construction (have not found a bit of pot metal)
Great for woodland and mountainous play
Mobile yet heavy enough to make me feel like im not holding a walmart gun (good balance of weight)
Good rate of fire (~ 650-750)
Cons:
Selector switch is somewhat questionable (wont break but wont go into semi very easily)
dust cover is SLIGHTLY wobbly what d you expect 1 metal latch holds it in place (only slightly)
Mag is also SLIGHTLY wobbly but it is only slight
Minor cons and a Fantastic gun make this a great buy.
Very nice and solid rifle. I'ts a basic AK-74 but it has the wood furniture that gives it that really nice ak look, the internals are pretty decent as well and it performs on par for the price. the pistol grip feels really nice with a dull matte black look and feel so your hand won't slip when you grip it there. Sadly the wood isn't "real" wood but the plywood stuff but its still REALLY nice and if you give it a nice finish to it then it'll look even better. sights as as any ak sight easy to use but can be difficult to see through. The accuracy for this is amazing, it's a very accurate gun because of it's 455 mm barrel and the great ak hop-up (plastic) and everything else that helps it and it's full metal everything on here except the pieces that aren't obviously metal are metal. This will never break on you unless you have the intentions to and it'll be much more accurate than the average m4 out of the box, overall a great gun to purchase for a first gun and for anyone looking for another or a new gun. By the way be careful with the flash hider because many people and guns that i've gotten like this the threads have been stipped to hell because the person tried to get it off but they couldn't, in the manual it tells you how to properly take the flash hider off.
Pros:
Full metal
Wood grips and stock
decent internals
sight rail on the side
accuracy
big magazine (about 500-600)
Cons:
Internals could use work
Threads are stipped frequently
Weight (about 5-6 pounds or so)
SIghts are hard to see at time
Wood isn't real quality wood
