Product Information:
I purchased the Echo 1 Red Star AKM off of an eBay seller for $190. It was preupgraded with Prometheus and and a few systema internal parts, was wired to a 20C 11.1v LiPo with XT-60 connectors, and had a little wear on the right side of the barrel. Overall, I am extremely satisfied, the previous owner sold it with a 600 rd Echo 1 Metal High-Cap and a Polymer mid cap which I do not know the brand of. The High-Cap is good quality, but it skips shots on fully automatic every once in a while, and the mid cap feeds flawlessly. I could consistently hit targets with ease at 50-75 yards with .28 Elite Force biodegradable BBs, and I am sure that I could go farther, MUCH farther, I can see the way that my gun is set up it shooting out to 200 feet. I have fired about 2500 bbs through it and it is going strong. I have held real steel AK-47s and shot plenty of other firearms, and this thing weighs just as much.

Pros:
-Extremely accurate, I destroyed an old, decaying birdhouse in my yard with this at about 50 feet, glass was shattering, and it was epic. I popped a water bottle at about 30 feet with so much ease I didn't even have to try to aim.
-Great weight which adds to the realism, when I hold this badboy in the air with one hand, I feel like I just came straight out of the 1980s movie Red Dawn, in which a group of highschoolers form the Wolverines, a guerilla group that fights against Soviet occupation. They predominately use AKMs as well.
-Good quality metal.
-No stock wobble or handguard wobble, I'm not sure why so many of the other reviews stated that this gun had bad wobble, it is pretty much non-existent for me
-With my 20C Zippy 11.1v lipo, the rate of fire is INSANE!!!!!!!! I would say probably about 20-23 RPS, maybe a little less with prolonged use and a break-in period.
-Very good trigger response, semi-auto is a breeze, and full auto is very entertaining
-Adjustable iron sights for range and elevation
-Good quality sling mounts
-Wood finish is beautiful to look at and hold, even cooler with scratches and battle wear
-Easy to open back plate for battery compartment

Cons:
Very few cons, most specific to the way the previous owner had set it up. Cons with an * are specific to the way my gun is set up.
*-XT60 connectors are a pain to remove to take the battery out of the compartment
*-Takes some time to fit the battery in the compartment
- White engravings with serial numbers and the engraving on the fire selector are starting to rust and wear down a bit, but that can also be a pro as it looks very rugged
-Mag well takes some practice to use, once you get it down it is very easy to do however
-Barrel can scratch pretty easily, again looks rugged though, so semi-Pro
-Rear iron sights wobble a bit, very manageable however






Overall, this is an AMAZING GUN, with or without my upgrades and battery, as to begin with it comes stock with PREUPGRADED internals, would probably recommend stepping up the default 8.4v battery to something that can keep up a little better. Overall, if you are looking for a realistic AK style rifle, this gun is for you
