My first impression when I opened up the packaging and looked at was it does look like it will be a snug fit. This is because there is elastic that goes all the way around the magazine pouch and so it got squished down because of the strength of the elastic. After a day or two of letting the pouch sit with a magazine in it the magazine became much easier to get in and out. It is still a snug fit but you can get the magazine into the pouch in probably 1 maybe 2 seconds after a few uses, and getting your rhythm down. I found that the lids are more of a nuisance than a good thing. Luckily the lids are Velcroed to the back of the pouch so you can remove them. I wouldn't be worried about the magazines falling out because the elastic keeps the magazines pretty secure with out the lid. Remember when you attach anything molle to a molle vest that you must weave between the webbing on the vest and the webbing on the back of the pouch. Otherwise you will not have a secure pouch.

Pros:
Multiple colors
Removable lids
Magazines are secure even with out the lid

Cons:
Some what more expensive compared to a average m16 molle pouch.
Velcro could easily give away your position.
Snug at first, but gets to a workable tightness after time.
Its your only choice.
