How to install: (1) Please apply some oil outside the bucking when installing. (2) Also, remember to replace the spacer to the X type one. NOTE: X spacer is not good for all AEG. (3) If you have problems to shoot out B.B., please apply some oil "inside" the bucking. About this product: Shark Hopup Bucking is original designed for 470 to prevent double feeding. By 3 special "fins" inside the bucking, Shark Hopup Bucking can hold one and only one B.B. tightly in the chamber. In the mean time, to our surprise, we found that this bucking could enhance the velocity on some AEG. But not all AEG could have the same results and the result could be different from one AEG to another. Unfortunately, we don't the exactly reason because each AEG has its own condition. However, we do believe that the friction (from 3 fins) appied onto B.B. will enhance the velocity. Rubber v.s. Silicon: To say the truth, we prefer the rubber bucking. It is duriable and cheaper. Un...more>> fortunately, if you want to use this on a standard AEG, you may have some issues fitting the bucking into your hopup without some... modification. I ordered a G&G metal hopup for my CA Aug at the same time as this. I spent several hours trying to get either of the buckings in to the hopup correctly, and despite using lots of lubrication and effort, got nowhere. The best results I managed were when I took the rubber bucking and cut it down to half its current length, reducing the friction that was stretching and deforming the bucking as I slid the barrel in. Now it's in and the gun shoots VERY well. Pros: Buckings are thick, and should take some abuse. Spacer should work quite well, distributing pressure on the BB evenly for more accuracy (haven't tested yet at long range, but short range seems very consistent). May increase FPS slightly due to better air seal. Cons: Major pain in the ass to get on. I wouldn't recommend this for most people, as it wasn't really designed for AEGs to begin with. FRAZZELLE i used the black bucking on my m16 which was used off of my friends m4 because he didnt li...more>> ke the performance. he put at least 3000 shots through it over a month of playing 2 days. i put it in my gun and at the time used my gun as a ghetto lmg. i put 16+ hicaps through it in one day and through out the day it performed well. it gave my gun a little more velocity because the .25s werent floating to the target. they were getting hard to see. when they ran out using .2s gave me the range of a gun w/m120 and .23 in it. the prob is that a couple of days later i shot my gun off and a couple of shots later it was acting like an automatic $20springer. wqhen the gun got took apart one of the fins on the hop up ripped off making it useless and i had to put my original CA bucking back in. i would recomend only to those using realistic cap mags and not go through no more than 2000 rds in a day or week. maybe keeping track of the bbs you fire may be hard to do but not shooting a lot of bb should make your hop up last longer and definitey for your gearbox my m16 has had 50-60gs through it not including the times i had to dryfire for storage and what happened the first time i got it(the first day it wasnt lubed and my cousin did something to it to where it dry fired whether there was a full wing or not after going through and im not talking about when the mag is almost empty either) the the piston is going to go out soon as well as a gear+the spring is worn badly. but hopefully it will help as this imo and my gun was stock or other things (see all 5 reviews) or (Write a Review) This product was added to our catalog on Friday 01 December, 2006.
