Description:
The Airsoft GI Custom Desert RRW is another masterpiece that comes directly from the tech benches of Airsoft GI, and it is a show stopper. The techs here at Airsoft GI started with the Echo 1 Platinum Edition AEG in tan. The Echo 1 Platinum Edition AEG was used for multiple reasons, mainly being its exquisite internal and external build quality. The Platinum Edition also allows our techs to perform a multiple of external upgrades to the AEG due to its compatibility with nearly any part currently on the market.

First and foremost, the techs started off the build with a Madbull Daniel Defense MFR 7” rail system paired with a Madbull 7.5” outer barrel, and topped off with a Rainer Arms Flash Hider, making the front end of the RRW truly one of a kind. The MFR paired with the 7.5” outer barrel creates an extremely flush and streamlined system that looks great and performs even better; perfect for CQB and mid-range engagements. The front end is finished off with a Magpul AFD and XTM rail covers to allow the user to implement both a proper and comfortable grip. Moving to the receiver of the AEG, the first thing that will strike you is the MFT Magazine clamp. The clamp is perfect for this AEG as it will decrease reload time which is especially useful when battling in a CQB environment. On the lower receiver, you will find that an MOE grip has been installed, which matches the gun beautifully, while also giving the user a very comfortable grip. On the rear of the RRW, you will find several more accessories that make the RRW a perfect AEG for a fast paced environment. The techs started off the rear end by removing the stock buffer tube and installing a PWS buffer tube. This buffer tube offers multiple advantages over the standard model such as QD sling swivel points, a one piece fluted design, and numbered adjustment positions. Mounted onto the PWS buffer tube is a Magpul MOE stock. The MOE was chosen by the techs for its design, modularity and overall aesthetics. Finally, the RRW is finished off with flip up front and rear sights as well as two Magpul P-Mags to match the AEG.

The Airsoft GI Custom Desert RRW is easily one of the best set ups for a CQB environment that we have seen come from our techs and many of us here at Airsoft GI have fallen in love with this gun.
