Product Information:
My first Airsoft Ar-57. It's a really great Airsoft gun, it's very accurate and good weight. Shooting from 50 feet away aiming for a cup of bottle.

Pros:
Accurate I can shoot 100 feet away.. I can almost use this as sniper with a scope 4x20
Unique
Durable
Railings on the sides

Cons:
Less ammo
The crosser isn't accurate, I have to aim at the bottom of the crosser to make it accurate
I bought a scope that recommended by gi on the page with Ar-57.don't get those Ncstar is loses and wiggle around a lot.

When I first bought the gun on a blitz sale I thought I was getting a pretty good deal and it turns out it was an awesome deal. When I took the gun out of the box I noticed it was a solid chunk of metal. There is absolutely no play on any parts of the gun besides the stock and a little mag wobble. The trades look to actually be engraved into the body and won't come off anytime soon. The exterior finish of the gun is a little rough I must admit it could be better. Also, the iron sights that come with this gun are a joke. But the included battery and midcaps fed and worked flawlessly though I would highly recommend switching it to deans adding a mosfet and running a 11.1v lipo. As I took the gun completely apart the inside of the gearbox seemed to have a tad to much grease but nothing major. Stock shimming could be a little better but it was decent for a stock gun. The hop up unit easily came apart and it was a breeze to install a different bucking and nub. The hop up can only be adjusted once the mag is removed from the top but once it is dialed in it absolutely will not move as it is quite stiff. The selector switch also moves freely and clicks into place nicely. The fake bolt on the side of the gun does wobble a little bit and if it gets loose it can be tightened down. I was able to rewire the gun to the mag well and use a large hollowed out m4 mag to store a large battery. When you insert a standard m4 mag there is a tremendous amount of play and wobble. This can be easily fixed buy apply soft Velcro to either the mag or the inside of the mag well to eliminate mag wobble completely. If you hollowed out a fat mag you could store a very large lipo battery.

Pros:
Great quality for the price I paid
Unique design
Easily rewired to the mag well
Sturdy trademarks
no trigger play
Good range and accuracy in stock form
Solid one piece outer barrel
Orange tip easily removed
Sturdy upper and lower receiver with no play
Comes with a battery
Comes with two midcaps
All parts are version 2 compatible besides the hop up unit, air nozzle and gearbox shell

Cons:
Not so great crane stock
Latch holding in mags could be stronger
Hollow hop up nub
Somewhat Rough exterior finish
The non functioning mag well has A LOT of mag wobble when inserting m4 mags and I mean A LOT!
Provided iron sights could be better

At first glance, I thought this AR57 was pretty ugly. I wanted an AR that was different. I'm not a fan of m4 rifles and I thought this was a unique hybrid. It eventually grew on me and I bought one. I normally use a King Arms P-90, so I was able to use the same magazines instead of having to buy m4 mid caps.

I gotta say, this is a nice rifle! The two piece upper and lower receivers are metal and are rock solid. The gun also came with a 9.6v 1600 NiMh battery, standard wall charger and 2 68rd magazines.

At 415 fps, this gun was WAY to hot for field limits so I ended up putting an M110 spring and it brought it down to 375 fps.

After trying this out on the field, I found that magazine changes are a tad tricky. The mag release is very similar to the P-90 and releasing the mag is a breeze. Inserting a new mag is much more challenging. The front of the mags have to line up with the front post and the back has to be seated properly in order to feed. If the mag is slammed in too quickly, you can potentially miss the feeding lip and have to take the mag out and try again.

The m4 magwell can fit practically any mag you want (Pmags have a slight wobble) but will not feed the gun. The "feeding tube" for the m4 mag is sealed with plastic. You can only put a mag in it just for looks.

Oddly enough, I tried an ECHO 1 P-90 box mag. It clicks into place, but for some reason, the magazine release doesn't keep it in place. It popped out of place every single time I touched it. I found that a little unusual and it defeats the purpose of using m4 mags.

Overall, this was a great addition to my arsenal. This is definitely an intermediate weapon because of the minor amount of tech work and unusual magazine changes. Buy this gun if you want a challenge!

Pros:
PROs:
Full Metal
Pistol grip, stock, trigger guard, buffer tube, and lower receiver can be switched with other standard m4 parts
-14mm CCW Barrel threads
Metal flip up sights
2 68rd magazines
Battery and Charger
Better trigger response than a P-90

Cons:
CONs:
Requires tech work for field regulations
Mock charging handle sometimes comes loose, but can be tightened down
My particular crane stock battery compartment cover was melted together, but I had another stock anyway
Magazine changes are tricky
ECHO 1 P-90 Box mag doesn't work...

I bought this on an impulse, partly because of suggestions from a friend about decent brand and almost entirely due to "hey look thats really wierd". Since it arrived I've used it for several games and let a friend use it too. We both agreed that it's a very solidly performing gun even with the included battery.
There are a few small issues with the design. First, the rails are a little skinny and may allow attached sights to wobble even when fully tightened. There is also a small screw on the bottom rail that pokes out just far enough so that you have to remove it to put a grip on (which doesn't wobble when tightened). You may also need to change the spring strength depending on where you play as it shoots at around 398-402 with .25g bbs out of the box. Other than that, mags can be an issue, but as long as you stay away from high caps it shouldn't be an issue. Honestly, nothing wrong with the design is detrimental to the performance of the gun (other than high caps).

Pros:
unique
higher top rails allows for the use of a full face mask
good hop up unit
great performance out of the box with included battery
awsome included iron sights

Cons:
Small external design flaws (see above)
High caps are unreliable
Included mags only hold 46 rounds (I calls them liar caps)
