Product Information:
Out of all of the other higher end rifles out there like kwa,g&p,vfc, i decided to go with krytac. first off, the external build quality is astounding. it has a matte black receiver and rail system. no wobble between the upper and lower or the rail. the top rails for the keymod are numbered, and it meets up flush with the upper. the barrel is 14mm ccw, and to my surprise the flashider wasn't all that hard to remove, came off easy with a crescent wrench. it appears that at the rail was cnc'd but I'm sure all of the other metal parts are as well. every edge on the rail is a little bit sharp, so i would advise using gloves or railcovers. the keymod holes are made to mil-spec unlike other rails, and sadly this gun doesn't come with a keymod rail section, at least a small polymer piece would be nice to have been included, just for a grip or flashlight. all of the receiver trademarks are nicely engraved and not too flashy. bolt release works very well and keeps the mock bolt out of the way when you're adjusting the hop-up. the body pins have hex heads on them to make sure there are no pins lost. the left side selector works nice and smooth, but the right side is stiff and a little hard to operate. the motor grip has to be my least favorite part though, it is slimmer than other m4 aeg grips, but the finish isn't the same as the other polymer parts, and has that stupid nub thing on it, i will most likely be replacing it though. the sling mounts are bent backwards to prevent binding with a sling, something i really like that they thought of. the stock is probably one of the best m4 stocks i have ever seen, it holds a nun-chuck, stick type lipo or brick type lipo and has a piece in the bottom that can be removed for an external battery. it's very comfy and has a nice rubber butt plate. the lever for the stock is easy to operate and to allow removal of the stock. only problem i have is that it wobbles a little bit, but i have seen far worse and i can live with it. the magwell fits about every mag i have, pmag, emag, etc.... the hi-cap included is nice, but doesn't match the color of the receiver and well..... it's a hi-cap so it rattles like any other hi-cap. the magwell is a little bit rough though and makes reloading feel awkward. the gas block when i got it was fine, but after some shooting it started to clang around the gas tube inside of the receiver. after putting some tape on it though i haven't heard it yet. the hop-up is a very neat design and works very well, but be sure to clean the barrel and hop rubber because mine came with quite a good amount of grease on the inside of it, leading to decreased accuracy, after i cleaned it and put a couple hundred rounds through it the range and accuracy increased greatly. i haven't taken a look at the gearbox yet, but i can tell it's very well shimmed and runs very smoothly. the built in mosfet works like a dream and gives it amazing trigger response and rof on just a 9.6v. I'm pretty sure you can drop an 11.1v lipo easy though and not have to worry about burning contacts. the chrono slip i got out of the box said it was shooting at 351 fps, which is perfect for playing cqb. oh and yes this does include a fuse, but its a nice blade type fuse making replacements much easier and it reduces the size. overall, this gun probably is the best bang for your buck, it out performs any stock g&p, kwa, or vfc and includes features like the mosfet and quick change spring. i really hope this company starts to produce more guns and aftermarket accessories like selling the stock and rail individually. if your 're contemplating buying this gun, go for it you will not be sorry.
