I ordered this package on 3/17 and received it on 3/24 so for this order it took about a week (on free shipping). It's not bad considering you get ASGI's great customer service and reliability. I also purchased an additional magazine (something that should be seriously considered if you're buying this gun because 15 BB's a magazine goes by FAST!). I think I'm going to be buying more mags in the future.

The box is made out of nice, sturdy plastic. The inside of the box is covered with a foam in an egg shaped pattern that'll keep your gun and accessories from sliding around. Gun is full metal (obviously _._). The mags that this gun uses are specific to WE's MEU magazines. From what I've heard this gun isn't compatible with Tokyo Marui's MEU magazines. The magazines have a nice brushed metal color to them (I think it's better looking than the typical old black ones). The mock silencer that it comes with is very light so you'll barely notice the difference when it's screwed onto your gun. The lanyard is also very nice, made of good quality material (although I don't think I'll be using it too much.)

Onto the gun itself, the trademarks are great. I, for one, bought this with one of the main reasons being the trades. The sights have white dots painted onto them for quick target acquisitions. The grips on the gun feel nice on my hands and there's a cool Marine medallion on the grips. The gun is also very easy to take apart for maintenance. As stated with ASGI's review of the Socom Gear MEU, Socom Gear gave the spring guide a rubber buffer so that WE's past issues with the barrel bushing and spring plug. So far (10 clips worth, I know it's not much) those past issues have been solved.
The gun consumes a ton of gas. I can get about 20 shots off each of my magazines before it can't fire anymore. The 18th and 19th shots are like an old man trying to run the marathon. Just know, you can get a full mag off easily but if you want to reuse that mag in a skirmish you'll have to bring along a gas can with you.
Firing the gun for the first time wowed me as well. The blowback action is nice and crisp due to the nice aluminum slide sitting lightly on the gun. The reaction time is nice so far. But as the spring gets worn down, I'll expect this to grow slightly, if at all, slower. Just a tad though. =)

The only thing that irks me is probably the rattle of the slide against the frame. It's not so much that it'll compromise the effectiveness of your gun, but if you don't like rattling then this'll bother you. Another thing, the mag base plates on my magazines are a little bit rattle-y as well. This doesn't hurt anything at all but... rattle rattle rattle.... -_-

This is just a first glance kind of review. I had waited a long time, saving up to buy this gun, and I do not regret buying this at all (so far). Later on I will be doing a range and accuracy review after breaking this gun in.

Pros:
Full metal, light slide.
Nice accessories.
Trademarks are pleasing to the eye. Well, just trademarks period.
Grips feel nice.
The blowback action feels like a dream.
Lean, mean, green gas eating machine. RAWR!

Cons:
Price, but not so much. Thanks to some of the price saving coupons and free shipping, I got this for about 2 dollars cheaper. 158*. But to me, it still hurt my wallet. Definitely worth it though.
