Product Information:
This Cylinder Set made a good, affordable start on upgrading my Echo1 G36. For those claiming compression issues from the piston head, you are mistaken. Out of the box the O-ring was a bit tight creating zero compression, but after properly greasing the piston head before placing the O-ring on it, compression was as good as I could have asked. All pieces of this set work flawlessly and feel solid. I've run about 15 thousand rounds with this installed along with the Modify metal spring guide with bearings and a Modify SP120 spring and haven't run into a problem yet.

All parts sold individually are much more expensive
Each piece feels well made and durable
Able to handle SP120 spring easily

The listing says not compatible with Echo1/JG when in fact it does. Not really much of a con.

Okay, I really apologize for writing a third review on this product, but the fact that I made one bad typo on the previous review was really bothering me. So to resolve any confusion that I may have caused, I will state that when I said cylinder head, I meant piston head. The cylinder head has NO compression issue, it sticks on there just fine, it's the piston head that doesn't fill the entire cylinder. A note to Airsoft GI, You can delete my previous 2 comments, it would make my head feel much better if you did, thank-you.

Mmmmkay, ignore my last comment, I got the gearbox to go together, so don't E-mail me please. Like the last guy said, it's a great cylinder set and makes the gearbox look beautiful, but the cylinder head has a little compression issue, so for optimum performance, buy a new cylinder head. Other than the cylinder head, it's a great cylinder set for a mild power upgrade.

I bought this for my Echo 1 G36C and all I can say is that the parts are definately sturdy, and look good when put together. But do not take my word for it just yet because I haven't been able to put the gearbox back together yet. All that is left is the trigger and the metal piece that connects to the trigger that pushes the plastic circuit completer to the other plastic part and the little spring that goes in there somewhere. So if someone could E-mail me @ [email protected] on how to assemble the trigger, the metal thing that connects to the trigger, and the little spring I would be eternally greatful and able to write a completely accurate review on this and several other products that I purchased for my Echo1 G36C (which is a fantastic gun stock).

great cylinder set

the bad:PISTON HEAD, its terrible it feels cheap and has terrible compression in the cylinder. The solution is to spend $20 and get a systema duracon piston head and change its o-ring with the stock echo 1 one, and the compression is 99.9% perfect.oh and u will have 2 cut this thing in the spring that connects it 2 the piston head and make sure u cut it so that it has nothing sticking up or else ur piston cant go all the way back. :(

the good:everything else! the cylinder is very smooth and looks good in the mechbox(its silver).the cylinder head is a perfect fit 4 the cylinder.the piston feels strong and is actually transparent black, but only time can tell of its strength

all in all if u have an echo 1 g36c buy this product!
