Well, uhhh... I got mine yesterday and well, its tappet plate broke today... I don't know why it broke so fast but it had a crazy rate of fire. I don't want to be a party pooper because I love it and the sight gets accurate. I ordered a new plate and hope to upgrade it with a sp120 spring and some metal bushings to bring it up to my other guns. Be careful with the tappet plate it is VERY THIN and I can't find any metal ones so thats why I'm only going to give it a 4 of 5. It has a large magazine but its somewhat hard to fill completely. I really like this gun though and will try to update in a while... I hope nobody else has the problem I did and I don't think manny other people will have it anyway, its only a $15 fix anyway.

The Tm P90 is a great gun. it was my 1st major airsoft invesment. before it i had purchased a Jing&Gong MP-5 for $35 on eBay to mainly see if i'd like airsoft. i found i loved it and well, the cheapness of the gun caused me to buy a TM P90. the J&G's gears thrashed themselves and i figured i should just buy a TM or CA. and i saw the P90 and knew i needed it. I didn't buy it off here (sorry) i bought it off of eBay new with a second mag.

The gun was more than what i had wanted! shot great, loaded good, and charge on the battery lasted a long time. the scope takes two AAA batteries, i found some used ones around the house and they worked so i used them. they're still working! this is 6 or 7 months ago. so the scope doesnt require much changing of batteries, which is good.

I have only had one problem with the P90, when i was test firing it once, the gun just stopped firing. i was puzzled at first, but now i know what it was. the gearbox has a (dont know the technical term) lever thing on the left side of the gearbox that moves allowing the gun to fire and stuff. it got cought and wouldnt move hence the gun wouldnt fire. all i needed to do i found was movie it a few times and put the gearbox back in. i have had to do this several times but it isnt anything i cant do in 5min so im not too unhappy.

other than that the gun is a great piece of airsoft history. great for CQBs, but will hold its own in woodland or open fields. the gun is quite powerfull but isnt the most powerfull, if that makes sense. if your looking for a good small weapon that can hold its own in regular woodland and can lead you to a victory in CQBs, the P90 is for you. If you are looking for a long range shooter or makeshift sniper, it isnt the best choice. but then again who makes a P90 a sniper? (even though it sounds kinda cool)

Bought the P90 back in 2000 (my first AEG!) and have never stopped loving it. The Tokyo Marui P90 is a great weapon. It shoots great and is EXCEPTIONALLY durable. Tracy, as I call it, has been through hell and back.

Funny story (and says something about Tokyo Marui's durability)... while on a road trip to visit some family, I took my P90 along, at the request of my aunts and cousins who were interested in my hobbies. On the way home we were in... Branson, Missouri. The P90 was sitting at the bottom of my duffle bag and I set it on top of the minivan so we could do some cleaning. I, accidentally, left it on top of the van and it took a spill off the roof of a vehicle moving at least thirty-five miles an hour.

A few years later, when I took it on it's first skirmish... it fired just the same as it had the day it left the factory!

A friend of mine bought the P90 TR as HIS first AEG and took it to the first operation our local group had ever been to/formed. It also happened to be a night-op. Howard (the guy who owns the P90 TR) fell into some murky, nasty, disgusting creek-water and was totally submerged. So was his gun. When he tested to see how/if it still shot... THIS BAD MAMMA-JAMMA STILL FIRED LIKE IT WAS BRAND NEW!

Excellent choice as far as durability and it just looks cool, too.

The P90 is a nice main weapon(upgrade it a little though) or sling it on my back when Im sniping. It shoots under 300 like all Maruis and has excellent accuracy. I'd honestly get this over the TR, because I'm personally not the type to put a laser, tac light, rifle scope,GL and such on a PDW, but thats just me, the accuracy is enought that nobody will insult you for having a rifle scope. For extreemly high power, you can put a long inner barrel in a silencer and go nuts with the gearbox. Alot of people complain about the high-cap mag, how you have to lift the mag and wind it. If you wind it all the way, its supposed to feed all the rounds. The mags still jam, so alot of people get the 5000 box mag or stick with standard one.
Very nice gun.

A lot of people thing that since TM has plastic guns they are bad. But the truth is they arent, and and the real FN P90 is plastic for the most part. The two things that are different in the airsoft and the real one is that the sight is a red dot instead of a reflex sight that stays in the same spot all the time. The secound thing that is different is that the upper reciver is plastic but if you wanted you can by a mettle upper reciver which is what i am gooing to do. The gun disasimbles farrely easey. All you do is press the upper reciver button to slide the reciver of the lower reciver, from there you can fix the hop up if needed or change the barrel. The mec box is different from every other mec box because of the shape, its more of a rectangle and to take it out you unscrew two screws and the mec box comes out. The standered mag holds about 68 rounds but you can get the high 300 round capacity mag. The gun is very impressive it can shoot acuritley from a very long distance. If yu are looking for things to get for the P90 then i would recomed getting a FN P90 sling and the FN P90 mag pouch ( I would recomend getting a Hurricane upgrade kit to replace the p90's plastic guts with metal ones. A lot of people want to get a suppressor to extend the barrel but if you want a long barrel go with something alse, because i thenk that if you want on of the most consilable submachine guns one the market then this gun is for you. Alog with the conselablity the gun is ambidextres which means that the gun can be oppreated by left and right hand shooters( the iron sights are on both sids of the optical the cocking handles are on both sides along with the mag realease). A nother advatige is the bullpub disign this is where the firring mecanisum is is the rear of the gun behind the trigger, so the barrel might look short but for the size of the gun it is a nice size. Now since the gun is so short the battery is small but lasts a very very long time longer then i thought it would last. Over all the gun is verry good and i love it a lot but unless you want to get the wrong reducer for the battery to the charger i would recoumend buying it from a different web sit or just buy the gun, not the gun packige.
