Just got this today and it is very nice looking with all the pockets and the real-estate for patches. Matches my ACR too. It feels so comfortable, not too thick like a sweater or leather jacket, not too thin like a wind breaker. The hood is perfect for those annoying rainy days when you need it. The adjustable cuffs are really useful too.

Awesome color
adjustable velcro cuffs
So many pockets
hide away hood
patch estate
Water Resistant

So many pockets cause you just want to put things in them all just for the heck of it
I cant rate this better than "good"

Opened up the box, was actually rather surprised. Unpleasantly. The color is much greener than you would expect. The pictures here make it look more alpha gray, so I was expecting something gray that I could use for a Texas winter - to blend with the dead trees better. Turns out it looks slightly more like the Olive Drab one on this site. It's probably just the lighting they used for the pictures, more than any mischievousness on the part of ASGI, but just a friendly heads-up to potential buyers.

On to the jacket - the quality is pretty sweet for an $80 knock-off of the TAD version. It's water resistant, as described. The pockets are great, and it's very warm. Easily does the job of a fleece jacket. There are some loose bits of string from the sowing they used, but in general I don't get the sense that the jacket will fall apart any time soon.

For those of you deciding between a TAD Gear one and this OE Tech one - you don't need the TAD one. This will suffice. Will all that money you save, you can get a couple extra mags, or just save it for a rainy day. This jacket will do the job you want it to, and will make you look great! I've already gotten several compliments on it, just walking around outside.

Blocks wind
Foldable hood
Pockets - internal and external
Velcro squares
Venting areas
Quality/dollar is great
Pretty stylish

When hood is folded down, collar gets rather fat - just something I'm not used to.
The color is not what I expected judging by the pictures.
Some Q/C issues with the loose bits of string from making this baby.

This jacket is amazing! We are having a huge rain storm here ( been going on 2 days, expected 2 days more) and i walked around in the rain with this thing on, BONE DRY! Very breathable with the "Pit Zips" and the back pocket/vent, so it is good for about 70 degrees completely vented, and about 40-20 completely zipped up, add the Base 2 layer, and you got it good for 5-10 degrees. This jacket is also good for a Task Force 141 loadout, or a Ghost load out, looks almost exactly like it.

Awesome Material
Awesome Looks
NO clammy feel when you are wearing it in rain/cold
Great Color, (its about the same as the medium shade of color on A.C.U'S)
Hood is awesome.

You don't have one yet!

Product Information:
This jacket is a steal. For $72 (GET out and play promo) this jacket is beyond worth buying. I just received it a couple of hours ago and I'm still finding new pockets and zippers all over the thing. I like how the jacket is pretty light and it sits well on your body. There are no problems with mobility and if you wear it long enough, you might forget its on you. There are many pockets and zippers all over the thing that can hold whatever you want. The two front chest pockets are fairly large and fit my phone easily. I've put my plate carrier on with it and It worked well with the jacket. Overall, this is a must for anyone who is looking for a good outdoor jacket or something that you can wear wherever.

Lots of pockets
good colors
has a tactical look
hide away hood
fairly light
pit zips
iPod routes through the pockets
works well with chest rigs/plate carriers

None as of now

As for the fit, I'm 5'10" and growing. I opted for the XL because I have fairly long arms and was afraid the sleeves would be too short. The XL fits perfectly and gives me a little room for when i get taller. Like most people say, order a size up and you will be fine.

Amazing quality for the price. I love this jacket! Looks really tactical and can be worn in either extreme weather or even just cool weather with the same comfort due to the zipper vents. If you are still in question weather you want to buy this jacket or not, i really suggest that you do. I had to wait for almost a year to be able to find a seller that actually had my size in stock. Another seller tried sending me a $20.00 fleece as a weak substitute since they were having a problem trying to get them back in stock. I later ordered it from Airsoft GI and received it in 2 days.

Looks really expensive, breast zipper has extra pockets for cell phones, pens, wallet, (iPhone 4 fits perfectly snug) repeals water, hood can be stored away, nice deep foliage color, the arm Velcro squares are a perfect size for any patch including a full sized IR US FLAG patch.

Like mentioned before from other buyers it does run kinda snug. I am glad I read someone's review that stated that it should be purchased a size bigger than normally worn. I wear a MEDIUM/REGULAR ACU/BDU top and I went with a LARGE. It fits well on my torso when worn with a t shirt underneath but im not too sure how it would look with a full uniform top on. The other thing to consider with size though is that you cant go 2 sizes bigger either since it gets longer on the sleeves. The sleeves at one size bigger are much longer than a MEDIUM which is the reason I stuck with the Large. The only other thing I can think of that might bother some people is that the hood hidden away in the collar kinda makes the collar stick up.

Product Information:
This Soft Shell is a very efficient product. I have used this jacket for two weeks with absolutely no functionality flaws. The hood rolls up into a pocket in the collar which doubles as a neck pad. There are elastic wrist cuffs which can be adjusted to the individual's needs. I was able to hold my cell phone, wallet, two pens, glasses, six patches, and two pistol magazines all at once without sacrificing maneuverability. As the video states this jacket also has little, rubber covered, holes in almost every pocket for the addition of ipod earphones that can be wired through the interior of the jacket. Also in addition to it's tactical uses this jacket is somewhat sturdy enough for every day wear and tear. I myself own a TAD Gear Stealth jacket and the OE Tech soft shell jacket is the closest thing to it for the price. As an added perk the velcro panels on the arm are large enough for flag patches or, in my case last weekend, a perfect spot for medic red cross patches! In my opinion every airsoft player, novice or veteran, should pick this up.

As a note: When I inspected the jacket I noticed an area, in the back where the collar meets the body, in which a seem tracked off about 1/4" from the rest of the seam. This was most defiantly a one-in-one thousand factory error but it was an error after all!

Durability- I have used it as my regular jacket for two weeks.

Functionality- This is perfect for airsoft due to it's many pockets. I held 5 MK5K magazines throughout the various pockets.

Climate control- It keeps you war in the cold and cool in the heat thanks to it's three ventilation points: one on the lower back and one on each armpit.

Tactility- Can easily be worn under a plate carrier, chest rig, or vest.

Weight and fit- I my self and in between L and X-L but I opted for the L and it fits well also it is quite light for the strength of the material and at times you may not even realize you are wearing it.

Price- I am rating this product so high primarily due to the price.

The only possible con would be the seam error but like i said it is most likely one-in-one thousand.

For $80 dollars this is your best alternative to a $260 dollar TAD Gear jacket!
