What a nasty little thing! great CQB gun and ridiculously compact, but then again that is its function. overall consmetic impressions, the metal body is solid and lacks machining marks, the entire gun is sturdy and firmly constructed, I cannot find fault in it, the only things that might detract from it are the very minor stock wiggle and the slightly deformed mag, but who cares, the thirty round mags look geat in it. As far as performance goes, the rate of fire is decent and it shoots at a chronoed and consistant 400fps. the stick battery is increadibly easy to install and goes in a jiffy, the hopup works constitantly and the gun is far reaching for such a short barrel and has acceptable accuracy. If you like the AK series of guns and want something tough conpact and reliable this is your weapon of choice. As for being hit by it, yah it doesnt feal all that great, a shot from it completely shattered the the face of my iron man watch, this thing packs a punch!

This gun is SWEET!!! Got it today and charged the battery up for 40 minutes. It had great power and even a little recoil to it. It has a nice feel too. It is hevier than my CA slr-105(which is complete trash). A great gun for anyone into airsoft.

After realizing that this is actually the full metal and FAKE wood version, I desperately wanted to have the gun taken back. However, I was too late, and ASGI already shipped it. When it came, I decided that I would go ahead and keep it - I could always buy a wood 74U foregrip later on.

Upon opening the box, I noticed that ASGI gave me a free poster. Thanks guys, I really like it :)

I then found a manual, a certificate from ASGI saying that it worked, and that it fires 400 FPS, and then the gun. The gun had its metal stock folded in. I took the magazine out. Its very light, but made of VERY cheap plastic. The winding wheel winds smoothly. I took the gun out, and wasn't particularly suprised at the weight - it seemed just as I thought it would. The upper and lower reciever are metal - but not a high-quality metal. The trigger, and trigger guard is metal, the front sight, rear sight, and the flash-hider/front barrel is all metal. The imitation wood felt rough, and looked convincing. I folded out the stock, and it gave a nice, secure snap. I found out that the stock is a LITTLE wobbly, but not much. The sights are pretty standard. The pistol grip is plastic, but the little lining thing on it is rough, and feels ok.

I charged the battery for about an hour. Oh, I think the battery it comes with is an 8.4, but I'm really not sure. The battery is a long, slender stick, and to put it in the gun, you have to press the upper reciever catch button-thing, and lift the upper reciever up. You simply slide the battery, until its eventually inside the foregrip, hook it up, and close the upper reciever.

I took it out and shot it after an hours worth of charging - I imagine its shooting 360-400. I was quite suprised at its shooting speed. The magazine is ok, not the best in the world.

One problem with this gun is that it only takes Dboys magazines (I think). I tried some other AK-47 hi-caps into it, and they would not fit. I have yet to see if any AK-74 type magazines will fit in this - I'm hoping they will. Another problem with this gun is its slide is loose and wobbly. The reciever catch, and a spring which allows you to cock it actually flew out of the gun once when I opened the upper reciever to put the battery in. Not to worry, it was an easy fix. It did suprise me, and it still does scare me. Another problem is that the top section of the imitation wood foregrip, if pushed down, gets a little loose. Just keep it as is, don't push down on it. Also the magazine isn't great in terms of cosmetics.

The good sides of this gun are its nice shooting (seemed fairly accurate when I was shooting), and its nice cosmetics. I really dig the way it looks and feels in my hands (aside from the stock wobbling a little, but its really not a big problem to me). The rate of fire was EXCELLENT from when I fired it. I've got to say, I honestly believe it beat my stock Classic Army AUG A1 - in terms of Rate of Fire and FPS. Hopefully it will last me and not break down - we'll see when the beauty sees her first game.

Anyways, I give it a 4 out of five, more like a 3.85 because of its problems. Again, I just got it, so I will post a performance review later on.

Just got it. Charged up the battery, loaded magazine, shot at the box it came in, about 10m away. RPM's good, pierced the box in a few places, very good groupings!
con: plastic hand-guard, but its got really nice finish to it! :)
I travel to Russia all the time and do have alot of friends in Militia(police) there who use this gun, it looks alot alike, though mag is alittle more biege looking.
Over all great gun!
cant wait till AirsoftGI will get the rest of D-Boy (KALASH) - AK's
Thank you AirsoftGI
