So far ive had a good experience with the gun overall. The kick is fantastic and im happy with how it shoots. The one thing i cant stand about KWA gbbrs are the hop up. I made the mistake of losing the tool so now i cant adjust the hop up.

full metal, only plastic is grip and butt stock
decent range and accuracy

KWA's way of adjusting the hop up
Im 65% sure this inst NS2.

This gun is really great, it functions how it supposed to with no problems. No wobble anywear, except the rail system this comes with. It has about half a centimeter of play both clockwise and counter clockwise, but this is not the Gi techs fault. The rail is actually just a lower end rail. It's actually the amp ris. Although the rail is actually great for its price. This comes from a guy who is used to Daniel defense and PWS rails. The recoil is about 70% of a real ar-15 in my estimation. Which is nice because its not extreme so you can still keep rounds on target. The best part of this gun performance wise, is the range. It's gets 200 plus feet of range and that's with the hop up turned all the way down ( least amout of hop up) and .25 gram
bbs. Its weight is also pretty realistic, this exact setup comes in about 6.5 pounds loaded. One cannot powerstroke this weapon. Although i know i wont use this under normal circumstances it would have been nice in the case I would have to use it. Definitely a great buy.

Build quality
Gas efficiency
Extreme realism

Cannot power stroke this weapon
Slight rail wobble.
Doesn't come with original hand guards.
Mag price, although when one is going to purchase this, one must be aware of them so it's not much of a con. It's equivalent to buying an LMG and saying it heavy.
I also prefer the front sling mount to be set on the bottom. Not much of a con

Received the package in a timely fashion, and the gun came packaged neatly and securely. Came with a bunch of basic manuals on how to care for AEGs, but seeing as this was a gas rifle, they were fairly useless.

This gun very closely replicates the function and internals of its real steel counterpart. It kicks almost as hard as the real steel (and this is in cold 30 degree fareheit conditions) and has decent gas economy, although in thirty degree weather the magazines tend to have much more cooldown than normal, as I was only able to get about 35 rounds off on one charge while firing full auto.

I am excited to use the rifle over the summer, when conditions are more favorable for GBBRs to test the recoil and FPS then. The gun chronos at 360 fps in cold weather, so it will be interesting to see what performance increases are to be gained.

Accuracy suffered, likely because the gun was spammed with silicone oil inside the chamber, causing a good amount of it to be sprayed into the hop up bucking. The hop up was dialed all the way up upon receiving it. In addition, there were a few minor scratches on the gun upon initial inspection behind the bolt catch release, on the rail system, and at the area surrounding the receiver pin near the delta ring. Overall they did not affect the function of the rifle, but having paid $380 you would expect the rifle to be blemish free. The RIS airsoftgi installed was pretty nice, but it started to come loose during my first match using the rifle. Again, a minor issue, but one to take note of nonetheless.

Also an important thing to note: One cannot pull back the charging handle to cause the bolt to slam back forward after being locked back. They must hit the bolt catch. That is about the only unrealistic part of the rifle that I have a true issue with, as this is meant to be a training tool.

I was skiddish about purchasing this, mostly because nobody wants to buy a gun with no review and get a dud product. I am here to put away any doubts or fears of buyers remorse. When my M4 first arrived I was beyond ecstatic to find out how well this beautiful machine performs. I can say that the gun functions very smoothly. It has a lovely amount of kick that gets you almost feeling like you are firing real steel. This gives me a boost of adrenaline when I play because every shot feels so much sweeter. The sound of this gun firing is so crisp and loud, it will undoubtedly strike fear into the most hardcore of players. Everyone I have played against has no intention of being on the opposite end of the barrel, because this baby really packs a punch, and an accurate one at that!

-The gun shoots HARD! For out of the box, I get a lot of shit from my opponents about the pain this induces.
-Very accurate. I use cans for practice because they are cheap and bountiful. I can shoot this M4 on full auto and hear every last "ping" as each bb rips through the water-filled can. Not a single miss at about 30 yards. I even slapped a rifle scope on it for a while and used it as an out of the box DMR.
-The rail is amazing. Not only is it beautiful but it is sturdy.
-Gas in the mag is enough for 2 clips of ammo in warm weather.
-In cold weather, only this KWA M4 can deliver. I have a KWA GBB M1911 and it doesn't function cold. But luckily I was the only one on the field able to wield this baby. Everyone was amazed I could get a full mag of compressed green gas in 20 degree weather.

-The stock is not of high quality. It feels a little flimsy. And from what I understand you cannot replace it with a standard airsoft stock. You have to get an actual 'real steel' gun stock.
-You are advised to NEVER USE PROPANE. Only use green gas. This is a con because propane is usually so much cheaper. Propane works, but KWA will void your warranty if you use it.
-The O-rings are total crap, they will break and crack eventually. This means you can't fill your mag with green gas anymore. Not a huge problem though, just go pick up a pack of high quality O-rings, slip them in, and you are good to go!
-My biggest and worst issue is that I bought a second mag. I am not sure which mag has the issue now, the original or the spare I purchased. But ONE of them is leaking right now. This apparently is a known issue with the KWA GBB M4. I bought a kit to fix it but I have not yet gotten around to it. Be forewarned, these mags have a leaking problem. And it isn't a slow leak, it is instant emptying.
