I just received my SCAR yesterday. I have not had a chance to shoot it so this review will be from observations and a cosmetic standpoint. When I first picked up the scar I was surprised by its weight, This thing is quite hefty. The weight doesn't inhibit your ability to move since it is well balanced. The paint on this gun is fairly cheap however (like most CA's) it can chip quite easily. Other than that the metal on the gun does not seem to be CA's usual "pot metal", it seems much higher quality than their m15 series. This gun is great for adjusting to the needs of the particular player. I am left handed and I have to say this gun is fantastic, it has an ambidextrous mag release, selector switch, and you can even unscrew the cocking handle and put it on the other side! My main gripe about this gun is how you access the battery, you must have a 3mm hex wrench (provided) to get to the battery. But the hex wrench is quite small and easy to lose. I suggest getting a multi hex wrench tool so that it is larger and easier to keep hold of. If you have an extra pouch in your vest or a secure pocket then you should not worry. All in all I am happy with my purchase so far, I may update this later with performance reports.

Great gun! it's mad heavier than it looks, and your arms might get tired if you hold it up too long. But that's better, cuz it's more realistic. If only the fps was higher like 350 or so like the echo 1. Oh, and If the shipping is late then it isn't ASGI's fault, it's UPS's fault.

Today (Thursday, May 31st) when the UPS man delivered my package, I must say it was difficult to lift. The price tag of the gun was a whopping $420, but it was definitely worth it. Upon first opening it I gasped; I had never seen a RIS Rail almost the same size as the gun. I lifted it out and was quite frankly, surprised at the weight. It weighed in at about 8-9.5 Pounds; unloaded! The only plastic (which was really poly-carbon fiber _:] ) parts are the stock, lower receiver, charging handle, and the majority of the small parts such as the windage thing on the sights. It DOES however, look really kind of funny without the sights flipped up. Other than that, there are four RIS rails on it; one on top, one on the bottom, and one on each side. The charging handle has a scraping kind of noise, and no cool sounding 'click' either. But that really doesn't matter. Unique serial number... No armalite logo though. Just 'Classic Army' then the serial number. The stock is extendable with an adjustable cheek piece and is folding. Pretty cool. The battery compartment is annoying to get to though, you gotta unscrew a hex then take the stock off. It came with a long barrel too. At first I was like 'Omigosh someone chipped my barrel' because CA decided it'd be cool to cut a 'V' into the bottom of the barrel.

WOW! This gun fires at about 10/12 rounds a second, not too utterly impressive but very nice. This gun is very accurate, I shot an entire bunch of leaves off with about 10 shots from roughly 120 feet away. Semi auto jolts the trigger back while auto is just crazy awesome. It sounds deadly and I'd hate to be on the opposite end of it. Very nice feeding, easy to clean with the cleaning rod, I've put about 600 rounds through it and have not had anything wrong like double feeding, jams, breaks, or anything like it. I thought it did but then I realized I didn't wind the magazine _._ .

Yes! This gun is the gun of my dreams. You guys stick with your M4's, M15A4's, and whatever. But this gun is awesome. Sure the battery has to be a mini but thats just fine. I rate it 9.5/10 because the battery compartment, and that alone. Very nice!

(Sidenot: Whoever O. Duzkiel is is a nut. AirsoftGI held true to their promise for me; mine came exactly when it was supposed to. GREATY JOB AIRSOFTGI!

Very nice rifle, a tad high priced if you ask me. The accuracy could be better but hey, its still really pretty good. When I first picked it up out of the box I immediately went to the scale and weighed it at almost 10 pounds. That's pretty heavy, so I suggest a STRONG sling. I already had a mini battery charged from my other rifle so I took that, plugged it in, and filled the magazine with BB's. Upon firing, it was easy to pull but a crisp sound. The gun itself is very crisp and nice detail wise, made of incredibly tough poly-carbon fiber. The BB's are nicely accurate with about a 4-6 inch groupings from roughly 60 feet. Of course, humans are much bigger than little paper squares so thats no problem. I suggest getting this.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars and no higher was because AirsoftGI's service. 3 day select should be three days, Not more.
