This gun is VERY cool. It has a very slick design, and has many features that add to the overall "coolness" of the gun. The slide is very smooth and the but is specially designed to help guide the mag in to the gun (which is very useful in tight situations) it is of a very high quality build and is designed in such a way that makes some people 'crave' to fire it. Yes, it is a super bas*ass gun.

-High quality build
-Extra safety features
-Very Accurate
-Smooth slide
-Very realistic feel

-Mags hold more bbs then gas that can fire them
-Removing internal barrel is a huge hassle

Owned this gun for nearly three years now. Amazing for the price. Accurate past 100ft if you adjust the sights and hop up to go to that range. Very easy to disassemble. Very durable as well. The gun itself is, anyway. The green gas mag that comes with this hand cannon is rather crappy. After three games of use, five mags, it started leaking. I wont go into detail as to how but i managed to fix it multiple times and this thing limped itself into some more games and more kills, then the mag crapped out for good. Trying to fill the mag results in it spraying satanically at your face trying to blind you. On a good note, this gun is cross compatible with co2 mags as well. Get one. Or a lot depending on your usage requirements. They're much more reliable, work better in cold weather, and are cheaper than green gas. Not as cheap as propane can be, but the mag that takes propane is crap as i just said. If you go with propane or co2 as you likely know already, use silicone oil to keep your weapon going longer without breaking. As i said, mine is still going strong after close to three years of maintenance and at least one mag a month. Sometimes dozens of mags in a day. Very reliable indeed. On a darker note, there is to my knowledge no way to attach a suppressor to this thing. I could be mistaken though. Also, due to my own error, the same day i bought it i broke the right side safety lever. My safety is no longer ambidextrous. However it still functions on the left side. Overall, four stars because of the magazine.

Awesome looking (in my opinion, of course)
Co2 ready.
Accurate at ranges even past 100ft.
Comfortable for even smaller handed shooters despite its size.
Easily taken apart for replacements or upgrades.
Well worth the money in my opinion.

Terrible green gas mag. Absolutely awful in my case. Everyone complains about it, i'm no exception. Cant rant about it enough. Just get a different mag from another brand or a co2 mag which is what i use and it works wonderfully. Besides, in my last game it was below 20 degrees with heavy biting wind and my co2 mag still saved my "life" when my KWA G36C 2GX ran out of ammo. Try doing that with green gas or propane.

I got this gun a while back and It shoots awesome. It has a hair trigger which is awesome for shooting fast and some of the best safety features I have ever seen. The slide is easy to pull back too. The mag is a bit difficult to load even with a speed loader so it might take some time. I used this in a war when my battery was charging off to the side for my fmg4-1 and even so i still got some kills facing Aegs because of its accuracy. It runs out of gas a little to fast in my opinion though. I put green gas in the mag for about 5-7 seconds. Averages about 20 shots with that maybe 15.

Great accuracy for a pistol.
Nice heft to it, (people have different opinions)
Hair trigger, good to get quick shots in.
Nice realistic sort of kick to it (recoil)
Good safety features so you don't end up shooting urself in the holster.
Nice sights
Easy to pull slide

The mag is difficult to load even with a speed loader.
Make sure you get the mag full of green gas because it runs out a bit fast

This is my review of the KJ Works KP-06. I got this gun in August and feel it is time to write a review.

For those of you who don't like reading, this is the short review.

Get this gun. It is great and won't disappoint.

Now for the real review.

Packaging: This gun comes in a simple black box with an ultra-matte finish. It gives you the model number and some safety information. The box is about 2" tall, 12" wide and 7" deep. Once you remove the top of the box, there is a foam insert with the gun and some goodies. Before you can see the gun, there is a lot of paperwork on top of it. You get the chronograph reading from GI, the manual and a KJ Works product catalog. My pistol came shooting at ~330 FPS with green gas and .20g BB's. The product catalog just shows specs and fancy pictures of KJ Works higher quality stuff. The manual reads "KP-06 Manual" on the cover and has a glossier finish than the box. The first page shows the comical safety cartoons and warnings. The writing though, is very nice and not the usual broken-up chinglish. Between the first two pages, there are three small paper targets. I suppose KJ Works threw those in to aid the adjustment of the hop-up. On the next page, there is a set of instructions on how to fill the magazine and fire. There is also a detailed disassembly guide and a guide to the hop-up. The last two pages have an exploded drawing and a parts list. Under that mound of paper, you get to the last two things in the box. A box of BB's and the gun itself. The BB's look like they're good quality, I'd say it's safe to use them.

External review: Once you finally remove the gun from the box, you will be amazed at how sturdy and heavy it is. The entire gun has a nice matte black finish, aside from a few chromed pieces. This gun is based off a Western Arms Infinity 6", but it has some major improvements. The first of these is fact that this gun is full metal. The slide, outer barrel and chassis are metal, but the lower receiver is made of a nice rigid polymer, just like the real hi-capa. This gun has an extended six-inch slide plus an extended magwell, so its gun is huge (think Desert Eagle). The extended magwell is silver, and helps aid in fast reloading because its color stands out and it channels the magazine into the grip. The grip has a nice texture, is rough, and grips your hand very well. This gun has an extended slide release and an ambidextrous safety for easy operation. This gun is equipped with fiber-optic night sights, which are fully adjustable; this is a nice feature to have because now you dont have to buy a pair to replace the plastic garbage sights found on some pistols. The only problem I have had with this gun is the slight amount of wobble on the front of the slide. It only moves about 1/8 of a centimeter, but it is still annoying.

Shooting: If I could sum up the shooting experience of this gun in one word, it would be fun. This gun is just a blast to shoot. It has snappy recoil and lots of metal clicks and clanks. The gas economy is also great, on a good day I can get about two full magazines worth of BBs (60 shots) out of one fill-up. The accuracy is nice too, on my first game with this gun I got a 100+ foot kill, but it was kind of a lucky shot. The insides of this gun are reinforced to handle high-pressure gasses such as Co2 and red gas. This gun has an extended spring guide and a powerful recoil spring. It also has reinforced gas/loading nozzle. All in all this gun shoots like a champ.

Conclusion: If you want a hard-hitting, accurate and realistic gun with excellent internals and externals, this is for you. It is much better than a We-Tech and it only costs $135. This gun can easily compete with a KWA handgun (I would know because I own one.)This is the KJWs top-of-the-line gun and it surpasses anything else they have made.

Great construction
Nice shooter

Amazing gun. i have owned this pistol for about a year and i have had nothing but amazing performance. it is more solid and "beefy" than WE 1911's. it is extremely accurate! Range is as much as or more than an AEG! Double tapping with this pistol is very easy. the orange tip comes right off with a bit of paint remover. The "xcelorator" part of the name means that it is a race ready pistol or race gun. this means it has a long inner barrel (6 inches, hense the KP06), extended slide catch lever, easy reload magazine plate, fiber optic sights or "night sights", long rail system and amazing internals! this pistol will last you a lifetime if you keep it maintained and use it as intended! I would more than recomend this outstanding pistol from KJW!

fast cycle rate
hard kick
full metal
long barrel

Not even really a con, but the magazine that comes with the gun could be a bit nicer. the mag every once in a while will not finish off the BB's but will run out of gas (but doesnt leek!). i would hope u would buy extra mags for it and the Holiday special 51 round CQB Master WE magazine on evike for only 30 bucks is amazing. it packs a harder punch, holds a bunch of ammo and seemed to increase my range, plus you always will finish off your ammo before your gas!
