This gun is truly an amazingly built weapon. I was just T-boned with it in the trunk. When I got home I tested it to make sure it still worked and it performed flawlessly. I've had it for a while now and I can say with complete honesty that I will keep this rifle until it breaks. And even then I'd fix it and continue to use it again. If you're looking for a great Full Metal M4 for a starter airsoft weapon buy this. No regrets

Strong metal body
Good FPS 400 for mine
RAF is about 10-12 (8.4-1400)
Good blow back for electric
Easy to make modifications

Mag well is a little shaky
Butt stock shakes a bit as well
Other than a little wobble wobble there are none.
Buy it and enjoy.

I have had this gun for about a year now and it has performed good so far. However, when I got the gun the hop up was broken and the ris and stock both wobbled horribly. I have solved the problem with the stock by tightening it and replaced the broken hop up with a systema. I can't fix the ris though, it fits too losely with the d ring. but other than those problems its an okay gun. The battery it comes with sucks though.

kind of accurate
performs good
metal gear box

bad battery (slow ROF/can't hold a charge long)
broken when it got it (hop up)
wobbley stock (fixable)
wobbley ris (dosen't fit right)

Product Information:
After a 7 day waiting period, I received my Javelin JM4A1-RIS. Now, upon opening the package, I was surprised to see that there was some new form of packaging from some of Javelin's other M4 series. Coming with the package was the gun itself, a vertical foregrip (odd, there was no mention of one when purchasing it.), a sling, a high capacity M4 magazine, a small package of BB's, a cleaning/unjamming rod, 8.4 volt battery with a battery holder, and a Javelin gun works Velcro patch. Furthermore, the box came with an outdated link to a manual, and a 60 day limited warranty.

The rifle feels very nice and solid, it's completely metal, and very robust. Although there are some plastic parts on the rifle, it's nothing out of the expected, and the plastics themselves feel very fine and solid. This rifle fires about 410 feet per second with .20 gram BB's, so that exceeds my expectation of 360-380 FPS.

The rifle feels very nice and smooth, it has a decent amount of weight to it. Not too much where it's unbearable, but to the point where it isn't too light either. The pistol grip feels very strong and solid for a plastic part. Although this rifle is lovely, it does have flaws.

The first of which is the magazine well. I don't know what Javelin had in mind while making this rifle, but it doesn't fit the magazine you get very snugly at all - in fact, it's a wobbling nightmare. Although this will probably be present with any magazine you put into the mag well, you can easily suppress this wobble to a near silence with a few layers of electrical tape on the magazine itself.

The second flaw I'm having with this rifle is the battery itself. It's much to large to fit inside the hand guard, so I figured you would have to use the component that they gave you, and mount it on the rails. It made enough sense. However, this is where your nightmares begin. Half of the railing has rail covers on it, and said rail covers are near impossible to slide off. I've looked up guides on how to do it, but I have had no success. Although the top rail has room to mount the battery component, it completely blocks out your iron sights, which would force you to purchase a scope or other sort of optic. I am still at debate of how to get the rail covers off.

The finish is a little bit delicate. If you use your nails or some sort of tool on this rifle, especially with the Delta ring, you can end up putting a silver mark on the black metal. It's very easy to scratch, so be careful when handling this rifle.

If you can see past these flaws, this is a fine rifle that will probably last you for many airsoft matches. I would highly recommend this rifle.

Sturdy, robust plastics
Full metal body
Can be used for Field or CQB operations with a retractable stock
Fire selector is very crisp
RIS allows for several attachments
Very high FPS

Rail covers are near impossible to remove
Mag well has some wobble, however, this can be fixed.

Product Information:
The Javelin full metal M4 RIS is a fairly good gun for the price. Only improvements needed is that it could be made more solid in general. Much better than a JG.

- Full metal
- Very strong, plastics on the pistol grip, vertical grip, and stock, with a nice feel to them.
- One peice full metal hop up unit
- very crisp firing with a 9.6v
-fairly accurate out of the box
- Works great operationally

- Alot of Mag wobble (Can be fixed)
- some stock wobble (Can be fixed)
- The Rail system isnt one piece, so it wobbles, but not as much as a JG M4 does.
