Ok i bought this gun else where, but Basically it is my least favorite of the TM M4/M16 line. The barrel wobble is the worse on this gun due to the fact of the added weight of the RIS, PEQ, and the front grip. Internally it performs the same as any other Tokyo marui V2, accuracy and rate of fire is decent. Looks is as expected from a plastic body. Do not attach anything else that doesnt come with the gun (m203, bigger PEQ,etc) the barrel cannot handle the added weight, also do not add a sling or the barrel will snap off

Just so everyone knows...the trademarks are supposed to be melted off. This is so Tokyo Marui doesn't have to pay Colt, Armalite, Sprinfield, etc any money for trademark right.

I got this gun recently. Its great! The battery has to go into the hollow PEQ2 unit however. Only thing I would unfortunately suggest is not getting this from Airsoft GI (unless this happens with other sellers). When I got this gun, I noticed every part of the box had M4 cut off of it - it didn't bother me. However when I opened the box, I noticed several spots on the gun had been melted. Its not an accident because it targeted only specific spots: the little image on the gun, along with every time "M4" was printed on the gun was melted. It doesn't look like a manufacturing defect but as if someone heated the are and then got a sharp piece of metal and scratched it off (maybe to avoid copyright payment?). *sigh* Now I need to buy a new body for my SR16 due to this unfortunate incident (because who wants a $300 gun with melted parts on it.)

I give this gun:

5/5 - Look
5/5 - Feel
5/5 - R.O.F.
4.5/5 - accuracy

Would improve:
fps (however stronger springs = less life for the gun, so its a maybe)
Cost less (but hey, its a Marui)

One of my teammates had this gun awhile ago (he had bought it used and fairly beat up for about 150 dollars), and it was indeed a very reliable weapon, which felt no need to flaunt itself: armed with this weapon box stock shooting 280 fps my teammate managed to down many opponents armed with CA's, in lots of skirmrishes and in the rain and mud. Finally, however, after one particularly hard knock every TM owner's worst nightmare ocurred: the two reciever halves would not stay together, and upon closer inspection indeed the upper reciever tabs had broken. With that he sold it and purchased a CA M15A2. If he'd really wanted to save it he could have installed a metal body for as little as $70 and a couple of hours on a rainy day, because besides the plastic body this is, in stock form, about the most reliable backup (or primary even) weapon on the market, just like any TM.

this was my first gun that i bought about a year ago and it works great get a bigger battery at least a 9.6 1800 you can rewire to the back or get a bigger peq 2 unit on your gun personally i put the ics peq 2 with the laser because i can fit a 9.6 in and it has a laser so its no longer just an eyesore plus it ups the rof on it metal bodies are also a huge plus making it really tough the only problem i have had is in the beginning since the body is plastic and the rails are metal it gets front heavy and the barrel wobbles alot so i got the rail fix and that worked perfectly great beginner gun and theres alot of aftermarket parts making it ggreat to customize
