VFC Full Metal SCAR-L MK16 CQC AEG Airsoft Gun (Tan)
[03297 / 200923SSB]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Description:
The VFC MK16 is the latest and possibly the best replica of the MK16 currently on the market. The VFC MK16 maintains many of the same features and controls as the M4/M16 series, so the transition for users is simple. In addition, the MK16 has many improvements over the M4 and the M16. The lower receiver is constructed from sturdy polymers to reduce weight. The the magazine release and selector switch are ambidextrous, and the bolt release is functional. Not only is the stock retractable it is side folding and has an adjustable cheek rest. Unlike the Classic Army the wires are not exposed when the stock is folded. The most drastic changes have been made to the upper receiver. The delta ring has been removed bridge the traditional gap between the handguard and the upper receiver. An integrated and uninterrupted rail runs along the top of the receiver giving the user plenty of room to mount optics and night vision equipment. In addition, there is a rail on the underside of the handguard and two removable rails for each side of the handguard that enable the user to mount accessories like a flashlight or vertical grip.

I bought this gun about a month ago now, and as i have had it it has worked wonderfully. The feel of the rifle is great and what i love most about it is that it uses M4 mags unlike the Scar-H. The only difficulty i have had with this rifle is that the mid caps I usually run do not work with it. A buddy of mine has this same Rifle except it works fine with the mid caps I have. What I did find out works great in this gun are Hex-mags. The mags shoot flawlessly through. It is funny because my buddy's scar wont shoot the Hex-mags as great. I must have just got a picky gun. Overall i would definitely recommend this gun to any of my friends, I love it so much!
Pros:
Very sturdy
Accurate
lightweight
Great fps for indoor and out
Once i found out what mags to use it worked great!
This is my "Go to Gun" for any field i play on!. GET THIS RIFLE!!
Cons:
Make sure you find midcaps that will feed. (Hex-mags worked great for me)
Wen i first got the gun the fuse became disconnected and did not work. Airsoft GI was able to fix the fuse and it works!
Besides that nothing. *Make sure you test out what type of midcaps feed in the gun!!
a full metal body aeg that uses m4 mags. I have used it for a walk on day and had no complaints. The gun is solid and works great. I am not sure of the rate of fire but it is pretty high. The battery compartment is small and can only fit a stick style battery.
Pros:
good rate of fire, solid build, a lot of rail space, good range for an aeg
Cons:
can heavy, i recommend a sling with this one. with a short sling it can be hard to see the sights correctly. small battery compartment and a hard to adjust hop-up.
I picked this gun up when it was substantially discounted to almost $200. for the price, this gun is literally unbeatable. though it doesn't come with a battery, a 7.4v lipo seems to work good and gives you smooth trigger response.

the gun itself is beautiful externally, and lightweight due to some polymer parts. don't be fooled though, it's very heavy-duty!
the upper receiver was one of the best parts. it has a bronze finish, and looks amazing. VFC has yet to disappoint on external quality! however, you may have heard some of the internals are dodgy, but the only thing i'd replace is the hopup. everything else is perfectly fine considering it's a cqb gun!
Pros:
-Exquisite externals
-Heard VFC internals are bad stock, not this one!
-Impressive range considering stock hopup
-Nice ROF with 7.4v LiPo
-More than enough rail space
-Free high-cap! (well... not really, but eh)
overall, very nice gun internally and out!
Cons:
-Limited battery space
-Flimsy bolt catch, gets released slightest bump hits gun (may just be mine)
that's mostly it, no game changing complaints!
and by god, this gun is amazing for the $174 discount. picked it up for $215.99, it outperforms my ARX-160 stock!!
if you want a sexy, bad*** gun, this is it. this is my go-to cqb, and h*ll, maybe even field gun!

Rm4 mag
Would Rm4 mags be compatible with this? I already have a set of 7 Rm4 mags and I'm not asking if they fit I'm asking if they'll work with the scar. Or would I have to buy a whole new set of mags?
