Systema Reinforced 7mm FS3 Series AEG Gearbox (Gray)
[02992 / CMBCFS3]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Description:
The Systema 7MM Reinforce Gearbox for FS3 is the best way to upgrade your gearbox if you are shooting high fps, 420+. The purpose of the 7mm ball bearings is to reduce the friction put on the gears fulcrum while spinning. Don't make the mistake of thinking the only way your gears can break is at the teeth. High power springs with mediocre bushings or bearings can break the gears at the stem. A break at the stem is potentially more dangerous to the gearbox than just a few teeth breaking off. The Systema 7mm Reinforced Gearbox is designed to prevent damage to the gears and to prevent gearbox failure due to high stress. If you like your high powered gun performing in tip top condition you need this reinforced gearbox.

This gearbox is awesome. I had to get a new gearbox when the little nub that holds in the trigger assembly broke on the stock echo 1 box, the echo box is nicer then jg's but it doesn't compare to this one in any way. Systema makes really good quality stuff, this isn't just reinforced in the back like other reinforced gearboxes, this thing is built like a tank! The only drawback is pretty much the price (but hey, it's a Systema) and it's only the box and selector plus 7mm bushings. Overall I don't regret it at all.
Pros:
Engraved Systema on the side adds a nice touch
7mm bushing will hold up better then 6mm
reinforced all the way through, not one place is forgotten
Gears don't touch the box and run smoothly
REALLY easy to shim
Made of high quality steel
Cons:
Bushing are kind of hard to put in place but it could be a pro
only the box, selector plate, and bushings
It is really hard to come up with cons for this!!!
