Bore up kits are designed for guns upgraded with an M130 spring or higher. In order to take full advantage of the powerful spring bore up kits have larger cylinders and air nozzles, which allows more air to power the BB.

Well unfortunately I had to get this off another site because like all of the good stuff on ASGI, its out of stock, all the time. But anyway, I completely rebuilt a G&P, only keeping somethings like the body and some internal parts. So I got this bore up kit.
Now I don't know how many of you know but the cylinder head and piston head are made to reduce sound. I was a little skeptical about this because Ive ready other reviews on just the piston and cylinder head. But those people are completely wrong. This cut down the noise about a third or half of what it was. So the whole piston, cylinder, spring and the whole upper part of the gearbox is a lot quieter than it use to be.
But unfortunately I'll still have to deal with the motor noise, that makes up for about half the noise of the gun. But what ever, I put a M130 in it, but I only have .2 bbs so I couldn't really do much, so I'm getting some .25s as well as a M140, just because I don't know the FPS and If the .25 brings it don't to 400 or somewhere like that, then ill just throw in the M140.
Well thats enough of my life story. 10/10 and it dose make it quieter!

I bought this set from ASGI for my G&P M4. I have my airsmith to installed this set along with a M130 spring, Systema's torque up gear set, madbull hard piston..etc..
It does sound alot quiet & clean. The M130 (airsoft sergeon) spring yields about the same FPS as a Guarder's SP130.
With a High torque motor (guarder, matrix), it delivers high ROF & good FPS.
Pros:
Much quiet than the stock cylinder.
Increase about 10 fps on a carbine length rifle.
High quality product.
Cons:
Maybe kind of high price tag?

This is an amazing set! I bought it for my ICS M4 about a year ago. After a year, the cylinder head and piston head are in perfect condition. I would recommend getting a better air nozzle for it seeing as how I have a stock upper and my upgraded up (which has this set in it) and the stock upper for my ICS is shooting harder with just a new air nozzle with an o ring it it. I originally bought that air nozzle for this set, but the cylinder head nozzle is to big to fit an SHS m4 air nozzle, which i must say are the best I have found. I have yet to find an air nozzle with an o-ring that will fit this head seat.

Bore up kits have cylinders that are designed to have more internal air volume for the same cylinder size. The standard for the industry is the non-bore up parts, which are adequate for most high quality builds. 3675 days ago 0
