Swiss Arms 6.01 Precision AEG Inner Barrel (360mm)
[Y03H03][19918 / 64178]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Adding a precision barrel to your airsoft gun can be one of the best things to do to get more range and accuracy. This high density steel barrel from Swiss Arms is great for that application. The entirety of the barrel has a special coating to protect it from rust and other corrosion you may come across, greatly improving the longevity of the inner barrel.

I bought this because of the crazy price deal that was going on. It was only $15! I got it for my DBoys M4 and thought it would be great. Instead, the bbs do not want to fire and always double feed if not jammed. I used AIRSOFT GI BRAND .25s and .28's and also ELITE FORCE .20 gram bbs and those trusty brand bbs that worked in the same gun with the same hop up unit and bucking. The original brass wide bore barrel that came with the gun works better than this barrel. I believe the reason is that the Swiss Arms barrel itself is actually wider than other barrels. I tried to slide the brass bucking ring thing on the new barrel and it would not fit on and so I believe it is not fitting correctly inside of the hop up unit.
Pros:
Steel
6.01
Rust and element proof
Cheap with the sale
If only this barrel would fit it would be great. It came a day earlier than expected and I'm glad it did because now I have another day to try to fix it up. After I write this review I'm gonna open the gun up again and see if maybe it's just the bucking put in wrong, but it most likely is not.
Cons:
Thicker in outer diameter than other barrels and will not fit in one piece A&K metal hop up units thus resulting in mis-feeding and double feeding and jams.
IGNORE MY LAST REVIEW I have no clue what happened but i just re-took apart the hop up chamber and put it back together and it works perfectly now. I flat hoped the unit and when I installed it all together I guess something moved because the bucking and everything was exactly the same. It works perfectly.
Pros:
Just read my last review of it not working it really is a perfect barrel now.
Cons:
The only con is that it dirties very easily and the silver shiny outer coating literally turns black if you just touch it with greasy hands and i tried cleaning it but now it just isnt silver anymore but it still is great on the inside.
I actually own the 510mm version for my Tavor. But I wanted to give these guys a serious thumbs up. I have yet to see an aeg match my consistency in both FPS and precision. I threw a r-hop up on this and if there is no wind, headshots at 200 feet 99% of the time, and body shots at 275ish to 300 feet most of the time. My fps ranges from 399-402.5 on a m100 matrix spring, systema bore-up cylinder.
Pros:
Looks pretty on the outside.
Stiff
No deformations
On par with PDI (as I do own a 450mm PDI for my Famas)
Cons:
Inner barrel is not polished (Not a huge con for me, as I polish all of my barrels, but I wish companies would do this more often. Seriously, it's not that hard.)
