If you're in the market for a new M4 RIS airsoft gun, but want one that is lightweight and budget friendly, the SRC Dragon SR4A1 RIS AEG Airsoft Gun may be the perfect option for you. The Dragon is constructed entirely out of high impact ABS plastic, which keeps both it's overall weight and cost down, but features a gearbox that is completely made of metal, just like those found in much more expensive models. The front of the gun features a RIS unit that is perfect for the addition of accessories such as vertical grips, flashlights, lasers, or cameras, and the rear sight is removable, providing even more rail space for the addition of your favorite optics. Included in the box with the SRC Dragon SR4A1 is an 8.4 volt crane stock battery and a standard wall charger, so you will have almost everything you need to get out and play all in one package.

Well i haven't had this gun for a very long time but i already know that i love it. It has a metal gearbox so it has some weight but everything else is made out of plastic which is nice to me because i like a light gun. Full-metal is just too tiring to lug around the field. The thing that surprised me was the rate of fire on this thing. It shot a lot faster than i thought it would which is awesome given the fact that i like CQB situations. Overall, pretty nice gun and i would recommend.

I bought this as my first AEG. For the price, it is hard to beat. It has its good points and bad points, but, overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Plastic inner barrel. I am listing this as a pro, because you can't bend a plastic barrel like you can a metal one, and it is very accurate.
Cons:
Joint at Delta ring is weak, can flex barrel assembly. I am going to add a long rail riser across the gap for strength
Rear sight windage screw knob stripped quickly, but can be adjusted with a flat screwdriver.

Can i use another 8.4 battery for this weapon?
The one i had broke and the gun wont shoot. I know it is the battery and not the gun i checked. If i can use another type of battery can you please tell me which one. The battery it came with was a 8.4 high battery pack 1200mAh Ni-mh
