I am about 5'6 and 150 pounds
this right is still a bit big for me
but put the mag pouches on the side and link it with the hydration pack and now it fits perfect
this is a huge deal
two molly radio pouches (I used one for my pistol)
molly 3 mag pouches
molly admin pouch with
Pros:
60$ great value I doubt you can do better
Cons:
need to use mag pouches on one side as a link to slim down the waist
This is a great chest rig. It perfectly adjusts for me (I'm around 5' 8") and it fits everything I need on it. The pouches it comes with are great and I especially like the attached hydration pouch, it saves me money but is less realistic. Overall great for everything essential.
Pros:
Fully adjustable, comes with mag pouches, an admin pouch and radio pouches to hold my essentials, it is comfortable and easy to maneuver in.
Cons:
Snaps on hydration pouch are weak, one broke the second I tried to open it, and it is a bit scratchy in some places. So, wear either camo or a long sleeve shirt with it.
I bought this vest along with a Lancer Tactical FAL Tactical to replace an older, cheaper vest and to hold my new magazines. First off, this is a really high quality rig, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. What is also nice is that it comes fully assembled, ready to go. It holds 3 M4 / FAL magazines (FAL magazines are quite snug, but it helps them from falling out). It also has very sturdy Velcro (hook-and-loop) to hold everything in place. There are two side pouches, and one on the chest behind the "bib". In addition to the MOLLE on the front, there is MOLLE on the shoulder straps and back for additional pouches. I feel this is a really good deal for $54.
Pros:
- Very high quality; durable
- Holds M4 / FAL magazines without them falling out
- Has a Velcro patch for patches / identification
- Lots of MOLLE
- Pouches can handle quite a bit of stuff
- Everything, shoulder and waist, can be adjusted to size
- Good value
Cons:
- Magazines can be a little too snug in the pouches
- Pouches aren't doubled up, but this isn't much of a problem
- Can be a little too big around the waist (I am around 5' 10", 5' 11" and 125 lbs -- waist size 29) and it needs to be adjusted, but that isn't much of a problem - it has straps
Overall, good value for someone who needs this essential piece of equipment, has MOLLE should you want to customize it further
