New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

Description:
The Lancer Tactical Liberator II Neckband Headset is a replication of a very popular communications system in use today by a variety of US Special Forces. The elastic strap and head strap are sturdy and stitched tight. The rubber coating on the wires is heavy duty and will prevent unwanted ripping and bending. The plastic housing for the buttons and microphone are also of heavy duty materials, which makes them more robust than replicas on the market. The low profile ear units are compatible for use with various ballistic style helmets.

Product Information:
visually appealing, functional, and easy to operate. Removing batteries is a pain, as they are inserted through a slot as apposed to a panel covering. The lack of +/- for batter insertion may be confusing at first, but remember my rule of thumb for this: A spring (like the one on the cap) will connect to the flat bottom of the battery. Insert the first battery REAR FIRST. Insert the next battery HEAD FIRST.

Pros:
-Looks great
-Flexible mic is strong, won't flex without force.
-Volume and power buttons play a tone when pressed, signifying power is on, volume up, and volume down
-not too much and not too little wire length (I am 6' 2" tall and connect my headset to a PTT rigged to my chest. There is enough room to move my head without the wire jerking the headset.)

Cons:
-No label for +/- battery installment. Batteries difficult to remove
-Not much variation in width adjustment.
-elastic velcro adjustment for top band are too long to decrease how low headest sits without crossing them over.

Sound Canceling???
I have two questions about the sound canceling function. Is it there?, number two, Is the function strong enough to use the head set as ear pro while shooting real firearms? Thank you for your consideration. This does not really affect my thoughts on buying this headset I plan to in the future. These are just some key concepts that I need to know.

Staff Answer:
I would recommend getting ear protection designed for real steel. These may work, however it is not recommended as these are replicas.
