Lancer Tactical Advanced Recon Carbine LT18AB M4 10.5" Carbine AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[30467 / LT-18AB]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Advanced Recon Carbine is the new "Elite" line from Lancer Tactical. The gun features a full metal construction, and great internal parts OEM'd by Lonex. The receiver of the rifle is made of aluminum in the billet styling. The controls on the rifle are ambidexterous, except the fire selector. The rail system sits flush on the rifle and has a monolithic rail along the length of the rifle, and comes with three, 9 slot rail segments to move along the keymod slots. There are four sling points on the rifle, two on the rear of the lower receiver and two on the rear of the rail. The pistol grip is slightly enlarged but ergonomically shaped to fit in the shooter's hand. The buttstock is large enough to house two 11.1v Brick LiPO batteries, or up to three 7.4v brick LiPo batteries.
Internally, the gun features Lonex's performance gearbox with upgraded, aftermarket components. The rifle features Lonex's Original Gear Set that has been constructed out of high quality steel and heat treated for durability. The piston is constructed out of a high density polycarbonate material with steel teeth that are designed to mesh properly with the gear teeth for continuous reliability and performance. The piston head is constructed out of a polycarbonate material and ported for maximum air seal. The benefit of having this type of piston head results in a longer lasting assembly over other piston heads made out of a weak plastic construction. The cylinder is made out of aluminum and is Teflon coated for maximum air seal, the cylinder head and air nozzle are also constructed out of a denser polymer material.Specifications:

So I've had this gun for a while, I've also did some cosmetic upgrades to the muzzle device, peq-16, red dot, flashlight and angled grip.
So first thing I'd like to mention.. that I've read some reviews on the longer versions... And even every company (including the manufacturer) fail to mention it is a electronic blow back... So yes the dust cover will pop open when firing... Its a nice feature and the bolt will lock back so you can adjust the hopup
Out of the box with premium BBS I was shooting 410fps... And with crappy BBS I obviously got less... But they were crap BBS lol. Quite accurate out of the box.. I had to make some small adjustments to the hop up to get it where I wanted it. I use 9.6v batteries... The butterflies fit quite well and I didn't burn up a battery as fast as I thought I would..
For the cost I felt it was pretty good... Solid gun from Lancer Tactical which I was hesitant to buy at first but I gave them another go... I also had no problems with magazines of any sort... Everything fed well and was a nice fit.
Pros:
Solid gun
Quick change spring feature is nice
Overall badass looking
Cons:
Nothing really a con accept none of the sellers or manufacturer mention ebb... Though if you watch the videos you can see it...
So first I will say the gun looks great! Its heavy so I wouldnt recommend it for a kid. I was super excited to get this gun because of the Lonex upgrades. But my disappointment started when I unboxed it. First off at $300 dollars GI! The packaging could have been better. The gun sat in a box with cheap plastic to secure it. The plastic was busted all up and scratched the gun(not much). I was expecting a manual, my cousin got a cheap interceptor from lancer and got one including a patch.
Anywaise I took it out to the field for some play time. Used an 11.1 Lipo since the gun is Lipo ready. Used 3 different mid cap mags with premium .28 BBS. Right out the gate I got double feeds, blank shots and a lot of week FPS shots. FPS was only 310 when chron at the field. So not sure what the issues are but already will be taking it in for upgrades.
Oh and that spear loader didnt work that they gave me!
Pros:
Lipo ready
Quick change spring
Lots of battery room
Gun looks great
Decently accurate
Cons:
No manual
Crappy packaging
FPS not as advertised
Heavy gun (but i like that)
Feeding issues with 3 different mags
Lots of miss fires and double shots all in semi auto
Week FPS many time throughout the 3games I played.
Says it was QC inspected but they must have forgot to shoot BBs through it. I should have went somewhere else and got a G&G are something!
New to airsoft, should've gun cheaper... Anyways...
I have this airsoft for almost a year now, used it a few times. Wonderful out of the box weapon. Looks cool and tactical. Have a little issues with the ambi bolt release, it's fix now.
I was effy about buying it. I don't think it is worth it to me personally.
The cons is something that makes this weapon bad in my eyes. Especially the QDs.
Pros:
Spring quick change.
Great FPS out of the box.
Solid, can take a beating.
EBB is pretty cool.
Cons:
Quite heavy compare to my real steel.
The QD mounts = horrible, any tug on my sling, the QD attachment slips out. (The grooves aren't deep enough)
Not easy to disassemble, making maintenance hard.

Yes, although we highly discourage any tampering or removal of the orange flash hider as it will void any and all warranties. 2059 days ago 0
