Krytac Trident MK2 SPR Keymod M4 Carbine AEG Airsoft Rifle (Choose an Option)[O12D00][33170 / KTAEG-TR2SPR-BK01-KTAEG-TR2SPR-FDE01-KTAEG-TR2SPR-FG01]
The Trident MK2 SPR is designed to be the ideal scout rifle to take into the field. Made by KRYTAC, the airsoft division of KRISS ARMS group, this AEG rifle has the fierceness of the Kraken sea creature that inspired the company’s name. The 16-inch barrel and 13-inch free floating DEFIANCE TR113 KeyMod hand guard gives the user numerous customization options. The DEFIANCE hand guard features three prongs at the front that can be used to brace the gun against barricades, eliminating the need for an aftermarket barricade stop rail accessory. This adds stability when you’re shooting over a bunker or through an opening. The SPR model of the Trident MK2 Carbine AEG is engineered for optimal performance in medium- and long-range airsoft battles. The aluminum receivers on the MK2 SPR feature a modern design style with a stamped KRYTAC logo and include an integrated trigger guard for your protection. An originally designed DEFIANCE pistol grip enhances the rifle's comfort while a locking bolt and release add realism. Additional features include an ambidextrous fire selector and a locking bolt that provides easy access to the KRYTAC rotary hop-up system. The KRYTAC rotary hop-up has 15 adjustment settings and a numbered adjustment wheel for a quick reference point to determine how much hop is needed to make your shots more accurate. At the rear of the SPR is the KRYTAC 6-position adjustable battery stock, which features two different battery configurations. Nunchuck-style batteries can fit in the tubes or a small lithium polymer brick battery can fit at the rear of the stock in front of the buttpad. A third battery option for the Trident MK2 SPR is a stick battery in the buffer tube. The stock also features two QD sling swivel divots as well as a loop for strap type sling attachments. The SPR has the look of a long-distance rifle and it also has the power plant to back it up. Internally, the Trident MK2 SPR features a reinforced 8mm ball bearing gearbox with integrated MOSFET to regulate electronic signals and to protect the trigger contacts. The corners of the gearbox that surround the cylinder feature a smooth radius, as opposed to a 90-degree angle, to prevent fracture. Also, the gearbox shell features a small window on the left side where lubrication can be applied directly to the gears or piston to keep them running smoothly. This window is also convenient for inspecting the angle of engagement with the gearbox fully assembled. Additional gearbox features include a modular spring guide system that will allow the spring to be changed without completely disassembling the gearbox. The KRYTAC piston is made of a durable, lightweight, and polymer and features four metal teeth with the 2nd to last tooth absent. The cylinder head is padded with an enlarged rubber bumper to optimize the angle of engagement and to absorb energy from the impact of the piston assembly. The material for the gears has been specially formulated to be very strong. Rockwell test figures on the KRYTAC gears are much higher than industry norms. Turning all of the drive train components is the famed KRYTAC high-torque motor capable of 30,000 revolutions per minute unloaded. The Trident MK2 SPR is designed to excel at medium- to long-distance engagements, making this an excellent DMR platform. Throw on a short dot style scope and you will have an excellent rifle built for medium to long ranges. It comes in three colors for different environments, and we also have starter MK2 SPR packages that include a LiPo battery and charger.

Krytac Trident Mk2 SPR M4(bought on airsoft GI)-Flat Dark Earth
Full metal body,
Pretty good trigger but nothing to go home about(its mostly is there to just look cool)
I have a crisp 2 stage trigger rifle that this gun doesn't seem to have
Motor seems bulletproof(for 7.4V Lipo only)
I have no chrono atm but I am sure it is shooting within the high FPS specs.
Very inaccurate, even for an airsoft gun-I come from airguns w/ pellets and understand that airsoft guns are normally this inaccurate but i've shot my 120$ P90 AEG compared to this(with stellar reviews) and it is more accurate than this gun. I can't even sight it in with the 3 MOA red dot sight that I bought on this site. The bbs just sometimes hits the center of the sight. I think its around a 3-4 inch group at 25 yards. This is awful!!! I heard good reviews about Krytac but I am not so sure anymore. Sure this gun can be great for beginners but if your the type of person like me who wants to pay for a premium airsoft rifle with good accuracy, power, feel and is not afraid to pay decent $$ for it, then this is not the gun for you. I recommend a High pressure airsoft gun also known as HPA. I am going to try and return this and move onto that. This is my honest review on the gun. It has its good points and I guess it is pretty good for an AEG but definitely the description of the gun is misleading. It is not as shiny as it makes out to be.
Cons in list form:
Wobbly Mag, even the stock one!
VERY VERY WOBBLY STOCK
Cheap Plastic stock, don't tell us that this is "polymer" because that is just a fancy way of saying plastic
hard to insert battery
(apparently) it shoots 2 bbs on semi with 11.1 V lipos
lack of 11.1 Lipo support despite having mosfet and being so expensive
VERY Inaccurate. 2-3 Inch groups @ 25 yards
Long and unwieldy, it's ridiculous since you'd expect a long SPR gun to be accurate but no it is not.
Nonflip up trash Iron sights that is just meant to be thrown in a drawer and never used(almost trash)
Expensive @ 355$
Stock not adjustable enough w/ 3 positions. Allow 5 or just get a better stock in general. Why put so much effort in a good trigger when you crap out on the stock?
Comes with No battery or charger(which is understandable since they want you to purchase a high quality one separately, just a slight con)
Does not come with a Midcap(which is only a slight con too since high caps have their own pros).
Does not come with big rails(actually, comes with a tiny 1~inch one). You will need to buy Rails to fit lasers, bipods, flashlights, or grips.
Not a 100% solid construction. If you move it around you can hear parts clack around.
Overall: I am very disappointed with this gun. I am going to give the supplier or company a call as I am unsure If I just got a bad batch of these guns.
This gun is flat out spectacular. To begin, it looks amazing and feels even better while holding it. Everything feels rock solid in your hands and nothing wobbles. The gun has a good, solid weight to it, but is not too heavy by any means. The sights the gun comes with are ok, but they are rather big and bulky, and I chose to switch them out with my classic army flip up sights. For performance, this thing is a beast. I tested it with a 7.4 lipo, as well as a 9.6NiMD, and it performed like a champ. Nice, clean , crisp on semi, and a respectable full auto even with the 7.4. The SPR shoots as far as expected, and clocks in around 355 with the .28bbs I use, which make the gun shoot as straight as an arrow! I haven't tested too many magazines, but I do know that the PTS EPM's and DBoys high-caps feed very well. Overall, very pleased with this gun and can't wait to use it again!
Feels rock solid
Shoots far and hard
Takes lipo like a champ
Great full auto with 9.6NiMD
Rail system is insane
Accepts all magazines I've used
Cones with metal flags hider
Sights it comes with are mediocre
Mag release was bit stiff the first few games
Orange flash hider very difficult to remove
So I had purchased this gun back on October of 2016 and at firs I loved it. It performed flawlessly out of the box. Up until June 30, 2018. I had alot of people tell me that the gun had a weak spot at the stock, and I just thought they were naysayers, trash talkers. Until June 30th, I had slipped and fell, and the worst thing imaginable happened mid game, the stock had sheared right off of the lower receiver.
I wish I can upload a photo.
Shoots pretty far
Stock sheared right off the lower receiver
