Krytac Trident MK2 CRB Keymod M4 Carbine AEG Airsoft Rifle (Choose an Option)[O08A00][33167 / KTAEG-TR2CRB-BK01-KTAEG-TR2CRB-FG01-KTAEG-TR2CRB-FDE01]
The KRYTAC Trident MK2 CRB is a modernized carbine that excels in close quarters and wide open outdoor engagements. Named for the famed weapon used by Poseidon and Neptune, this M4-based airsoft AEG is KRYTACís take on an all-purpose rifle for any sort of battle. The Trident MK2 CRB utilizes a 10.5-inch barrel and 10-inch free floating DEFIANCE TR110 KeyMod hand guard. The DEFIANCE hand guard features three prongs at the front that can be used to brace the gun against barricades, eliminating the need for an aftermarket barricade stop rail accessory. The KeyMod rail allows for a multitude of different KeyMod accessories to be mounted or for KeyMod rail segments that allow attachments of Picatinny accessories. This modular system integrates with the monolithic upper rail system to attach anything you might need. The aluminum receivers of the MK2 Trident AEG feature a modern design with a stamped KRYTAC logo and includes an integrated enlarged trigger guard. The use of this material makes the gun as strong as steel and as light as polymer. An originally designed DEFIANCE pistol grip enhances the rifle's comfort and grip. Additional features include an ambidextrous fire selector and a locking bolt that provides easy access to the KRYTAC rotary hop-up system. The KRYTAC rotary hop-up has 15 adjustment settings and a numbered adjustment wheel for a quick reference point to determine how much hop is needed. The KRYTAC adjustable battery stock features two different battery configurations. Nunchuck-style batteries can fit in the tubes or a small lithium polymer brick battery can fit at the rear of the stock in front of the buttpad. A third battery option for the Trident MK2 CRB is a stick battery in the buffer tube. The retractable stock also features two QD sling swivel divots as well as a loop for strap type sling attachments. The Trident MK2 CRB features the latest in shooting sports technology ó but the internals are what allow these rifles to truly shine. The reinforced 8mm ball bearing gearbox is the latest take on the version 2 system. An integrated MOSFET regulates electronic signals and protects the trigger contacts. The corners of the gearbox that surround the cylinder feature a smooth radius, as opposed to a 90-degree angle, to prevent fracture. The gearbox shell also has a small window on the left side where lubrication can be applied directly to the gears or piston. You can also use this window to inspect the angle of engagement with the gearbox fully assembled. Additional gearbox features include a modular spring guide system that will allow the spring to be changed without completely disassembling the gearbox. The KRYTAC piston used in the Trident MK2 CRB is made of a durable, lightweight polymer and features four metal teeth with the 2nd to last tooth absent. The cylinder head is padded with an enlarged rubber bumper to optimize the angle of engagement and to absorb energy from the impact of the piston assembly. The material for the gears has been specially formulated to be very strong. In fact, Rockwell test figures on the KRYTAC gears are much higher than industry norms. Turning all of the drive train components is the KRYTAC high-torque motor which is capable of 30,000 revolutions per minute unloaded. The Trident MK2 CRB is one of the best multipurpose AEGs that performs at a high level in a multitude of different scenarios. Airsoft GI has them in three different colors for players who prefer indoor areas, wood-based combat or urban cityscapes. I originally bought this as a back up gun, which I wasn't planning on modifying... It didn't go as planned, it has a P* jack in it right now.
Stock the gun was great. Shot 380 fps out of the box, great trigger response with a 11.1, accurate as hell with Krytac .28.
The gears are proprietary to the gearbox. They are slightly smaller that regular gears and you will not be able to put anything buy Krytac spur and sector gear in. I'm not a big fan of self shimming spur either, it's just too tight slowing the cycle down too much.
The compression parts are great, except for the nozzle, which lacks an O ring for some reason.
Overall, I would totally recommend this gun to a person who doesn't want to modify their gun to the extreme, since Krytac has excellent stock performance and doesn't take upgrades very well. Only thing I would recommend doing is upgrading to an O ring nozzle and a Prometheus barrel.
Great out of the box gun
Amazing hop up
A lot of battery space
Very comfortable pistol grip
Proprietary gears (except for bevel)
Self shimming spur gear
No O ring on the nozzle (easy fix)
Overspin on most 11.1 lips, unless its low discharge
Screws strip like crazy (weak metal and too much thread lock)
This is a truly amazing thing krytac has came out with I belive many people will agree with me. This gun is feild ready straight out of he box for cqb, outdoors, and milsim. I have owned my krytac spr for going on 2 years now and the only problem it has had was my fault so I am not going to go over that but these guns feature so many things that you have to pay big money for then do the work to it or pay somebody to do it, but krytac has given us the luxury of doing it for us so we can thank them by giving them good reviews if we like the products and continuing to support them as they grow I also run their bbs and have nothing but good things to say
-Great range for a stock gun.
-feels great in your hang
-lives ups to its name and lasts
-out performs other new and some modified guns
Far to many pros to list so pick one up and find out for yourself
-lower fps mine ranges from 230-245 fps but very consistent easy to fix with the quick change sping system and shoots mid to low 300's with m120 Spring.
-crap ton of locktite not a huge fan of the over use
- buffer tube comes very tight and can cause problems.
I purchased my krytac CRB about 2 years ago and must say I\'m very impressed with the functionality and longevity that this rifle delivers. This gun is very lightweight, gives a great feel to hold, has an impressive rate of fire, and is easy to disassemble. By far the best gun I\'ve ever owned, you can tell this gun has been well thought out.
Lightweight, great feel, impressive rate of fire, aggressive look, and easy to disassemble.
Unique bucking can cause inaccuracy when not centered properly in the barrel. .
What type of spring is in the crb? And what spring would you recommend if i am trying to downgrade to about 350 fps

(I have this same question)
An M100 spring would get you to the desired FPS.

Does normal 9.6 volt nunchuck NiMH battery work on this or does it require a LIPO battery?

(I have this same question)
The 9.6v will work with no problem.
