Since ICS entered the airsoft replica market in 1995, ICS was the first AEG company that specialized in designing and manufacturing of AEG's in Taiwan, and was only the 3rd of it's kind worldwide. As a professional AEG brand, ICS insists on accepting no defective parts from the factory, making no mistake on the production line, and releasing no defective product into the market.

The ICS SIG-551 is a very unique and high quality airsoft gun. The sportline model is considered their "entry" level, but this gun is far from beginner grade. Constructed of high quality, high strength engineering plastics, the externals have excellent fit and finish. The internals are housed in a full metal gearbox shell, which helps the gun retain some weight without being overly heavy, and the plastics helps reduce he weight by 40% compared to the full metal version. This reduced weight not only cuts cost, but helps players stay in the action longer without tiring themselves out. You still have all of the great features you would expect in an ICS Sig, including a folding stock, top rail for optics, and front side and bottom rails for grips and accessories.
