I love this M4, it was my very first and it still is packing heat.
The stock is pretty unique, compared to other M4s.
And the Iron sight/top rail is also different. You can take it off if you want.
The gun comes with 2 of what you think looks like a fancy Canadian styled Waffle mag but it's a high cap.
The gun's performance is great, brought it outdoors and it sang like a canary. The stock spring is shooting at around 370 which is fine for outdoor.
Pros:
The FPS is high and the gun is accurate to a point.
The good looking mags included are high caps
Unique look
Cons:
It's shooting too hot, even though it looks like a CQB gun
The PEQ box is too bulky.
This gun has worked very well for me. I've had it for almost a year and been very happy with the way it has held up. I have done some slight modifications to improve performance but the majority is still stock. If taken care of then this gun can last a long time.
Pros:
Heavy/has a nice feel
Great accuracy for CQB
Easily modified
Nice sights
Cons:
The front rails are very short
The peq box is a little annoying
These are my first impressions after testing it out for the day. It's a pretty good deal for a "full metal", well made AEG. It's unique stock and rail system definitely stands out compared to the rest.
-It uses a small tamiya connector for batteries, which is accessible from sliding off the lower half of the hand guard after removing the front sling connector. Small slits on each side of the hand guard allow you to easily place the small tamiya outside, giving you the ability to use an external battery enclosure that is either attached to the rails. The cylindrical hand guard allows you to easily use a velcro strap battery pouch. I highly recommend ditching the included PEQ and buying a good PEQ box or a nylon and velcro strap battery pouches as the one supplied is completely worthless. No really, I have no idea what the included PEQ was intended to be used for, because you absolutely cannot fit any reasonable battery within it.
-There is a plastic orange flash hider that is glued to the threads. It was easily removed with pliers, revealing negative 14mm threads. An included black flash hider, as seen in the product pictures was easy to install. I attached my novesky amp for funsies. It looks really swell.
Pros:
-Full metal upper and lower receiver.
-Field Worthy
-cycling is great using only an 8.4 1600mAh NiMh Battery
-Great compact feel that is familiar to those who use a G36c or MP5
-Grouping is nice for the barrel length
Cons:
-Absolutely worthless PEQ box. Cannot even contain an 8.4v 1600 mAh NiMh.\
-Hand guard cannot contain the same battery above, not even a split battery commonly placed in hand guards.
-The rails on the hand guard are dense plastic. This can be good for reducing front heaviness, but also bad in durability.
-Some plastic internals, like the hop up unit. not necissarily bad, but noteworthy.
-Perhaps too hot for CQB
-Star, MAG, and included HiCAP magazine have a little wobble to them when inserted. They still feed great.

What battery would be recommended for this weapon?
I have multiple 9.6v Tenergy batteries ranging from nunchuck styles to stick styles and I was wondering if those were compatible with this gun, or if I would have to purchase a few 8.4v batteries.
