New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

The G&G Ready Magazine System is constructed from metal and attaches to the outside of the magazine well of a M4 or M16. The ready magazine system places a magazine at the ready next to the magazine well for quick reloads. This can be of great help in CQB where the games are short and every second counts. With no additional modification the G&G Ready Magazine System can also be used as an external battery holder with the help of a hollow magazine.

Product Information:
This is to hold another magazine without breaking your mag well. It is actually a few seconds slower than a mag clamp. It has a hole that allows you to put a wire through to connect to a battery. You WILL need modification unless your gun already comes with a hole in the side which I highly doubt. If you are going to use it as a magazine holder here's how it works. If you have areal steel style mag release in which you press the button and the other side sticks out you can use it. Theres's this one button where the thing that pops out of you gun when you press the mag release
is and as you press the mag release it loosens its grip on the magazine and you can pull it out and put the mag in the mag well. Forgot to tell you, this mounts on the side of your gun. It works for my classic army M4 and my Marui one.

Pros:
Hole to slip wires through
lets you keep another mag at any time, no need for buying 100 mag clamps.
Very helpful

Cons:
Gets in the way of your bolt stop a bit.
If you have a M203, this is not for you. It is awkard to fire the M203 with this on because this is in the way.
Very stiff gears

Overall: Good. Buy this if you want to hold a battery . You will need drilling.
Don't buy this for your mags.Get mag clamps instead uless you don't want to spend$$$ or don't want to mess up your magwell. Four stars because of price.

Product Information:
This particular unit comes pre-equipped to the G&G C.R.W.

I have recently had one of these in the shop, and to what I could get out of it, it just gets in the way.
You really don't want this to hold an extra mag, because, it doesn't hold a mag, it's meant to hold a dummy mag that holds a small battery. It really doesn't hold functioning magazines, they can just fall out with a tap.

So what I'm trying to say is, this is just a big chunk of metal that gets in the way. The owner of the CRW specifically asked me to remove it and wire the gun to the front.

Pros:
Can hold a battery if you want to wire your gun through the side of the receiver.

But who in the right mind would want to do that when we have spacious stocks, empty hand guards, and roomy PEQ boxes.

Cons:
Fat chunk of metal
Gets in the way
Adds unnecessary weight
Wont hold a functioning mag
Looks incredibly stupid
Scratches the front of your mag well

Product Information:
G&G's Redi Mag clone.

The redi mag is designed to hold an additional magazine at the magwell for fast mag changes. The G&G Ready Mag is a copy of the real steal MK I Redi-Mag.

The G&G ready mag works well as a repository for another loaded mag. I've tested with JG, MAG, G&G, and King Arms mags and it holds all of them securely. The mag release extension frees both magazines at once, making it imminently suitable for very fast mag changes. I use one on my personal rifle and can change mags more than twice as fast as anyone else on my team.

However, if you're looking for a battery box in an empty mag, I'd suggest looking at a real steal Redi-Mag MK II. In that system the mag release on the magwell will only release the mag in the magwell. In my opinion the G&G ready mag is not suitable for use as a battery box without modification.

The finish kind of took me aback when I first saw it: it's a silvery, primer grey looking affair. But it's grown on me as it works well with my OD furniture and breaks up the black receiver a bit more. The mag release extension works well, and is easy to push. The additional spring strength is minimal, and I'm happy with it's performance. The mag retention block on the ready mag, however, isn't angled, so inserting a mag into the ready mag is difficult without pushing the mag release button. I've yet to make this modification, but it's something I will be doing soon.

The right hand side sports an engraved "G&G Armament" that I was pleased to see. My GR16 is very happy with her new jewelry.

Overall, this is a must have for CQB, and a should have for woodland play. With ten minutes and a file, the only con is a plus.

Pros:
Loaded mag ready to drop and slam into the magwell at a split second's notice
Gives your M4 that super-tactical goodness

Cons:
Cannot insert a fresh mag in the ready mag without depressing the mag release without modification.
